reguardless of history books that tell us that the romans attacked and conquered england that was not the case,new evidence suggests that they were in fact invited in by the king of mercia,which benefitted both rome and britain as trade ,the story that we were told at school was not as it was,there was no real opposition until later years,and by the way "COFFEE" we built a wall to keep you sweaty socks out but unfortunetally quite a few got through.

I take it you mean conquer! That is to take over someone elses country. The Roman Empire expanded from Italy and took over as many areas of the world as they could reach. They were certainly successful in conquering England but when they came north they encountered the Scots. And we don't give in!!

Do you mean CONQUER??? Concur means that you agree with what someone is saying. Conquer is to invade or take without approval.
