What's your resume look like? What's your background? Experience?
Try theater right now. You don't HAVE a chance to have a preference. You many want commercials, but you probably won't get commercials.
Get experience--theater, extras in movies, etc. ANYTHING will get you experience.

Get the Hollywood Representative Directory book, it gives you all the info you need to get into Hollywood, agents #s, etc.

If you're serious, have your parents get professional pics of you and shop you to the agents....there are zillions in LA.
