A hypothetical situation,
A prisoner is tried and convicted for a crime.

The country that this is in has the death penalty.

The prisoner is given the death penalty.

The prisoner is put to death by lethal injection.

He did not commit the crime he was accused of.

You are a citizen of this country.

As a citizen of the country whose legal system put this innocent man to death would you take responsibility (if only in part) for his death? Why/Why not?

What does this mean for countries that still have the death penalty?

Please explain your answers
I thank you in advance for your insight.

I blieve that it was a British minister around the time of Isaac Newton, and John Harrison(inventor of the Chronometer). I seem to remember that a very stuck-up minister in England was balking at either Newton or Harrison and said that there was nothing new left to discover. Maybe, even, it was years after?

There is a solitude of space
by Emily Dickinson

There is a solitude of space
A solitude of sea
A solitude of death, but these
Society shall be
Compared with that profounder site
That polar privacy
A soul admitted to itself—
Finite infinity.

i need help with what this poem is about, the tone of the poem, what the "profounder site" and the "polar privacy" mean. thanks :)

I live in Texas so at parties there's always someone that brings a cumbia mix cd, I see people do it and I'll practice the only problem is I can't learn it! I looked it up on the internet but all I could find was the traditional salsa version and not the kind Mexican DJs always play. I love cumbia cause it makes you want to dance but when you get up you realize you don't know how! Also my school's Valentines Dance is coming up and I already know they are going to play 'walk it out' by DJ UNK so I wanna know how to do that too.

LIFE is relatively short, after all, even if we do live to the proverbial three score and ten (70 years) or longer, and that fact by itself makes it hard to take LIFE all that seriously, in my opinion.
