We study hard to get the best jobs, we work hard to earn much money and sometimes this implies sacrifices, or seperation from people we love or things we'd really like but can't help us make a living. And we all know we're going to die.Is all this worth it?

On TV the colts coach thanked the Lord for his teams win. I venture to say that within one mile of this game there was a child being abused, a person was dying of cancer, a crime victim being hurt. I'm sure many of these people were asking the Lord for help but help did not come because the Lord was at the ball game and was too busy to help them.

Rosseau wrote that history repeats itself in cycles of decay, and that we have only to look to Egypt, Greece, Rome and the Byzantine Empire for evidence of this statement's truth. He believed that the only way to redress this cycle of decay was to create just laws and wise governments based upon the popular will of the people. Three important documents from the 17th and 18th centuries guarantee the rights of the people against arbitrary rule. Name at least two and cite their dates.
