Your thoughts about the metaphysical correlates of self-referral:

a) What do you mean when you say I?

b) What is taking place in one's being when one is saying "I" or thinking about oneself? Is one's being expanding or shrinking? Is one becoming or degenerating?

c) What is the relationship of selfishness to self-referral (I)?

d) What must happen for someone to have the potential to refer to oneself?

I am a art history teacher, and I personally love the Egyptians and Greeks... because their world views on humanity and religion are so far removed from where we are today.

I need to download "Do you love me?" by Peter Carey and "Notes for a story of a man who will not die alone" by Dave Eggers. Could you just give me a site or something where I can download it? Thanks!

Here it is...

Why can't most people cannot follow the concept that the human race started in AFRICA and we are all the same?

The oldest human remains were found in Eastern Africa (Ethiopia) -whoever migrated to other continents did so due to the inner need to always "find better"...
Truth is there is no such thing-and it's pure greed and competitiveness that drove people into what they did and still do today.

NO ONE person is better-no one "race" is better than the other...etc-
Classification like those are useless and do nothing but steer away from the truth-
The "color" of our skin and the slight diffrences in physical appereance are only due to our bodies adapting to the diffrent enviroments over time...

I doubt people will ever really and truly come to terms with this...what is your opinion?

It's a x-mas gift for my brother. His favorite book is the Alchemist. He's into stuff like: The Life of Pi, Celestine prophecy, Da Vinci Cose, Siddartha, Tuesdays with Morrie, etc. He's interested in truth seeking themes. Whether they are older classics or modern classics, it doesn't matter. I would appreciate some help. Thanks.
