My most recent render is at: http://img71.imageshack.us/my.php?image=facerender76vw3.jpg

There's something wrong with the edges of the mouth, but I can't figure out how to fix it-- actually, any serious artistic advice or critique would be appreciated.

(btw, I'm modelling this in Maya 6.5 with textures painted in Photoshop- once I get some hair implemented, I'll probably post a WIP thread at http://www.cgtalk.com)

You want to believe, because you don't want to be labeled ingorant or anachronistic, but you look around at nature and the evidence of a designer is so obvious. How do you muster the faith to accept Darwinian evolution?

AWSOME...but that's my opinion. I thought that movie was great. I just saw it tonight. What did you think?

A Sad Winter

I'm wandering through the snow wondering
How animals can sleep all winter
And why can't I do the same with the one I love
For she is nowhere to be found
As I die on the cold cold ground
Carmen A Perrone Jr (1996)

The Question

When I think about you on a quiet fall day
I sit and wonder what I should say
Should I tell you how I feel
Would you believe that I'm for real
Or should I keep it all in
Behind a cheerful concealing grin
Either way I have a fear
That you don't have the same care
But I must speak my mind
And let it all unwind
Because my love for you is strong
And that is my heart's song
Now your answer is the key
Depending how much you love me

Carmen A Perrone Jr (1995)

personally, i thought the book was brilliant....i didn't like the beginning, how Emily Bronte started it....i thought it would end up being hard to read, so i put it down....but my friend told me just to go on and it will catch you....i thought the story was so good, but quite annoying....i felt for Heathcliff and Catherine...wished they could be together....i understood Heathcliff's anger, but i felt that i just read on so i could know how it all turned out....what about you? what are your thoughts on WUTHERING HEIGHTS? feel free to comment...

this really wasnt a question..i just realized that sitting here waiting for points is utterly pointless. i could be doing much better things with my life, instead of answering silly questions about how to get leprachans to stop attacking your trailer....haha. but i just dont see the point..and why so many people sit here doing it. do you feel accomplish when you get points..? some of the people who come here are actually brilliant people..and they ask questions that they actually need to know. but some of these questions on here can only be answered by ourselves..and instead of sitting here waiting for them we should get up and find the answers ourselves. im sorry if you feel this was utterly pointless...just like the some of the many pointless questions on this site..but i hope you now have something to think about...

Its not that I don't enjoy playing dorky goofy roles. In fact, I am NOT trying to AVOID them. But I am trying to get out there on the other side of the spectrum. I know I am very capable. Like Robin Williams for example, from making you wet your pants to making you tear up. My goal is to be versatile.

There seem to be some people that are quite mean spirited that don't get what's coming to them in my opinion. My theory is that when people die, they all go to the same place, but on the way there are enlightened. So if they did a lot of bad things and didn't learn from them, that's where it catches up to them in the end. I'm interested to hear other thoughts on this subject.

im just wondering...but if you are going to give me something about your religion please save it for someone else..i would rather not sit here and read a religious beliefe that is made up by someone who died off a long time ago. i was your opinion..one that you cultivated all on your own in your own mind..please think about for a while. i really would like to know what other people think.

I'm 17 and I need a good book to read, I mostly favor Literature, but some old literature(kind of like The Scarlet Letter or books from that period) tend to make me day-dream so stay away from those. I enjoy reading, so i'm up for anything(except those dumb sex novels with a half naked Fabio on the front). Expand my mind with all of your brillianct suggestions. Give me some interesting.

My 2 are:

"A Native American grandfather was talking to his grandson about how he felt. He said, "I feel as if I have two wolves fighting in my heart. One wolf is the vengeful, angry, violent one. The other wolf is the loving, compassionate one. The grandson asked him, Which wolf will win the fight in your heart? The grandfather answered, The one I feed."
Anonymous, As told in Women Who Run With the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes

"The Question that makes me hazy, is it I or the others crazy"
Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955)

The first one is one of my favorites because I feel that it describes human nature. That we actually have a choice of how we can be.

The second one because it relates well to me. I get the same feeling myself.
