I'm working on a CG model of a woman's face- I could use some artistic advice-?

There's something wrong with the edges of the mouth, but I can't figure out how to fix it-- actually, any serious artistic advice or critique would be appreciated.

(btw, I'm modelling this in Maya 6.5 with textures painted in Photoshop- once I get some hair implemented, I'll probably post a WIP thread at http://www.cgtalk.com)

The corners of her mouth are too pointed. And her mouth might be a little small, too.
I don't know much about computer modeling but if you just mess around with the shape and size of her mouth you'll probably find what's wrong.

It's not too bad, actually. There's a little dimple at the corners of the mouth, sort of like the hole of a donut. Look at your own mouth in the mirror. The tip of the nose looks a bit flat. Maybe you should practice with a lump of clay. And there's nothing like having a life model, if you can find one.

The image is rather dark, it's hard to tell. I would take the highlight on the left cheekbone (her left, not yours) down one shade. The cheekbone closer to the viewer would be brighter than the one angled away, right now they are the same shade. See if that helps. I really can't tell about the shape of the mouth. It looks good from what I could see. Her eyes are beautiful, it's the first thing you notice.

i think it depends on what is wrong with the corners of the mouth. you need to give them a soft look so if it looks to hard or dark there, then you could just make it fade to the skin color ask light and make it rounder.
