what is peace, True peace? What is the oppisite or true peace?
If true peace did not exist would war become peace? If nothing but true peace exists Does peace become war?
Is it true that in order to have a truely peaceful world nothing but peace could exist?

I am reading a book entitled, "Reagan's War" by Peter Schweizer. Page 124 discusses the 1980 pres campaign. J. Carter's reelection bid was in trouble partly due to the tense intrnt'l situation caused by Soviet incursions into Latin America, Africa and Afghanistan.

Towards the end of the campaign, the White House sent Armand Hammer to the Soviet embassy for a secret meeting with Ambassador Dobrynin. This is a passage lifted directly from the book:

Hammer bluntly told Dobrynin that the President was "clearly alarmed at the way things stood in the election campaign." Then he asked if Moscow might be willing to help. Could the Kremlin expand Jewish emigration to bolster Carter's standing in the polls? Hammer asked.

Per Schweizer, this might make a difference in several key states & may bolster Carter's image as a man who could deal effectively w/ the USSR.
I don't get it. Why this particular issue? Why was Jewish emigration such a hot topic? What is the history? Ty.

What do you do to stay grounded and strong in the face of adversity? How do you find peace in our world? What do you do to be calm and healthy. I am looking for practical answers, philosophical answers and if you must your spiritual/ religious answers. I mean what can we do to help them understand that advertising is not the truth. And how can we help them to see through faulty thinking like bigotry and racism. How can we help them not to be sexist. We need to help our youth see through the lies and ignorance around them so that they will be able to improve society. The answer lies in finding a way to get our people to think logically and analytically. Obviously our education systems have failed in this way, even if not completely.

i love graffiti and some people think its bad and sometimes it is.when people cross over other peoples art it sometimes shows that there jelous of the other persons art,on some accasions thats not true if your in a krew usually you would get problems with another krew then thats also when people cross over other people stuff.i hate that ****!if someone crosses over my stuff ill get payback but sometimes thay dont(most of the time they dont) if you want to see some graffiti ny a krew i use to be in go to this website i also got something on there but it was done on paper and its really old im so much better
