Someone used a colored marker on an important book, and we need to remove the marker.

Ouch! Try a museum . they can restore many artifacts. Worth a try. Please don't try anything untill you speak to someone that has some experience with restoring important documents or paper.

I wonder, have you tried those bleach pens? I don't know if they would work on getting marker off of paper, but it's worth a try. I don't know what else you could do.

Sometimes you can use an extacto knife to scratch away the part of the paper that's stained and leave the white underneath.

um, i really don't think that there is any way, that's why it's called a permanent marker.

You could try one of those Mr Clean magic erasers.

maybe run the paper in water and let it dry or use white out.

Maybe, just maybe a bleach pen. (Haven't actually tried it yet) Other than that - noithing
