I ask because I'm listening to "Forming" by the Germs and it is absolutely fantastic for being a bunch of punk kids with most likely less than proffesional instruments, definately less than professional skill level, some good old fashion attitude, a garage, and a crappy tape recorder. And quite impressive lyrics! What a great single.

Best debut album is maybe Pink Flag by Wire or the Velvet Underground & Nico. But then again maybe it's the Modern Lovers. Or The Clash. If you count Electric Warrior as Bolan's debut as T.Rex (instead of the old Tyranosaurus Rex) then that'll be a candidate.

But I'll say the Ramones Ramones was the best debut album and for now "Another World" by Richard Hell & the Voidoids.

The Anaheim Ducks currently lead the NHL in home attendance percentage (dont ask me how they figure the percent, I dont know!)

My point: Last year, they finished 17th.
The year before that? 20th

How long will this last until the bangwagoners jump ship and their attendance returns to normal?

I can't seem to find this anyway on the internet, but i have talked to a couple different laywers that think since my landlord did not sign the lease, and still have not signed it after 3 months, it may not be legally binding. I have found one thing online that says the contract is not in affect until all parties names on the contract have signed. Which there are 4 names total, and 2 of us have signed, the other 2 are the landlords, which have not. Also if this is true my other question is, is there anything we could do about getting our money back for the rent we have paid since it would not be in affect. We were not sure of this because we have been living here, so we may not get a refund. which is understandable. If this is true and since they did not sign, how would we go about dealing with it, would we just tell them, and if they do not believe us then they can do what they think they need to do. We are talking to some attorneys and seeing if they will be willing to write a letter to them. That is probably the way we will go if possible. Also, sorry last question I promise. Since they have a copy and we have a copy, we are worried about them signing there copy and going and saying they did sign it, even though we do not have a signed copy. There are also parts of the contract that say we will receive a copy of the contract, and a copy of 5 other things listed on the contract the day we sign. I did not receive any of these, and still have not received the list they said we would get information about? Does that make a difference?

Im in high school and i take all advanced placement classes. I don't have any trouble understanding material we cover in class, but my problem is speed. I'm ALWAYS the last one to finish reading an assignment during class. My reading speed is sluggish and sometimes i have to re-read a sentence 3-4 times before i understand what its saying, and i often misread words. I have difficulty expressing myself verbally and I have a whole lot of trouble concentrating. Its like my head is a radio station thats buzzing a whole lot of nonsence, which makes it impossible for me to focus and get anything done. I also have a lot of difficulty planning ahead and proiritizing things i have to do. I end up doing everything at the last minute, despite my best efforts to start things earlier. I feel like if i could just focus and finish things faster, i'd do so much better in school. Is it possible that i have a learning disorder? What should i do?

I just got this email from my sister-in-law today:

We Need a Leader Like this!!!

Picture (Device Independent Bitmap)
Prime Minister John Howard - Australia

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.
A day after a group of mainstream Muslim leaders pledged loyalty to Australia and her Queen at a special meeting with Prime Minister John Howard, he and his Ministers made it clear that extremists would face a crackdown. Treasurer Peter Costello, seen as heir apparent to Howard, hinted that some radical clerics could be asked to leave the country if they did not accept that Australia was a secular state, and its laws were made by parliament. "If those are not your values, if you want a country which has Sharia law or a theocratic state, then Australia is not for you", he said on National Television

"I'd be saying to clerics who are teaching that there are two laws governing people in Australia : one the Australian law and another Islamic law that is false. If you can't agree with parliamentary law, independent courts, democracy, and would prefer Sharia law and have the opportunity to go to another country, which practices it, perhaps, then, that's a better option", Costello said.
Asked whether he meant radical clerics would be forced to leave, he said those with dual citizenship could possibly be asked to move to the other country. Education Minister Brendan Nelson later told reporters that Muslims who did not want to accept local values should "clear off. Basically people who don't want to be Australians, and who don't want, to live by Australian values and understand them, well then, they can basically clear off", he said.
Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. Quote: "IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians."
"However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the 'politically correct' crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others. I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to Australia .." "However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand." "This idea of Australia being a multi-cultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. And as Australians, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle."
"This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom"

"We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!"
"Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture."

"We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us."

"If the Southern Cross offends you, or you don't like "A Fair Go", then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from. By all means, keep your culture, but do not force it on others.

"This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom,
'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'."

"If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted."

Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves, American citizens will find the backbone to start speaking and voicing the same truths.

My grandmother made two amendments to a trust. But it appears that neither were notarized. When the trust was created in 1992, each of her two sons were getting a home. But each of the two amendments removed them both and put on a grandson and a great-granddaughter as beneficiaries instead. In her last Will and Testament, she has the grandson and great-granddaughter getting a home. Which one is valid or which will hold up if contested?

Once I was getting ready to leave she asked me when I was going to see my Obstetrician (which I'm going Monday) and she said he was going to talk to me about testing my baby for Down Syndrome at my next Ultrasound. My friend told me it was normal procedure but the way she worded it made me feel very uneasy, and I can't wait until Monday for clarity. So do you think she saw something abnormal this early (can it be detected this soon) or am I just a bit paranoid...PLEASE HELP Experienced only.

Am turning 16 and my dad said he would take me to get one whenever am ready, but I dont do good with pain, I got my ears pierced for the 2nd time 4 months ago and i was wondering if the pain of getting a tat is like getting your ears pierced for a long time(pain wise).
