when dividing you get the 786 154-150=4. then you need to add a decimal to the 1,9654 and a zero so you have 1,9654.0 and bring down the 0 so you have 40 then 25*1=25 and 40-25=15. Add another 0 and bring down you have 150 and 25 into the 150 is 6 so you get 786.16

19654 divided by 25 steps:
196 divided by 25= 7, with remainder of 21 (or 196 - 175 =21)
Bring down 5 to make 215
215 divided by 25=8 (or 8 times 25=200) with remainder 15 ; bring down 4.
154 divided by 25 = 6 (or 6 times 25=150) with remainder of 4.
To get the decimal remainder, you make the number being divided as 19654.00 and when you bring down the first 0, you have 40. This divided by 25 is 1, with a remainder of 15.
Bring down the final 0, you have 150 divided by 25, which equals 6. Therefore, 19654.00 divided by 25 = 786.16

when you divide 25 into 19654 you get 786 with a remainder of 4 then you put the 4 over the 25 to get 786 and four-fiths then you divide 25 into 4.00 to get .16 and that is how you get 786.16

you cannot have a decimal and a remainder. The decimal is the remainder, but stated as a decimal.
