We have a townhouse that is in a nice area outside of DC. We want to put some work into it over the next couple of yeras. We know we want new countertops (ours are HORRIBLE), maybe pergo or hardwood on our main level, we'll paint before we move out. Light fixtures? What else?

So, what are the best fixes to improve value of our home without breaking the bank? Best investment for the cost?

I am not fat, but I am sick of two things: Americans getting called fat everywhere around the world, and fat people getting made fun of.

For example, that well known video of that boy on the ride who almost falls out of the seat and is screaming for his life gets put on Australias funniest home videos? On YouTube all people can do is laugh? This kind of stuff just makes me sick and people who laugh like that make society a horrible place. I just felt the need to express that.

Hi, my 7 month old cavs hair is very thin, vet has said nothing medically wrong with that, just the way he is, hes got quite a bare patch under his neck ( put that down to pulling on lead, changed to harness) and his tummy is quite bald, the worse parts are around his bum and back legs, although its not bald its very sparse, any one know if there is anything i can do, or give him to make it thicker?

My boyfriend and I are making a list of questions for each other before we move in together (we have been together for 2 years) We are going to create questions about our future goals and we are exchanging them for each other to answer so we can see how we feel about certain issues that we haven't discussed or haven't thought of. Some of my questions are
1. What type of job or career is each of us working toward?
2. How much do we need to live on? Want to live on?
3. Will we live near our families or not?
4. Will one of us be willing to be a stay-at-home parent?
Okay...You get the idea. Help me to create topics we should discuss before moving in together and taking our relationship to the next level. please give me some questions you think are important in your relationship that maybe I have not thought of yet.

Seems we praise single moms alot for all the hard work they do and thats good and all but does this encourage these situations. Its impossible to know if a relationship will work out or not but if you are with a guy who wants nothing to do with a child that he fathered then you have a absolutely terrible judge of character and must have took him to the bed for just how cute he was.

The Reflector on a bicycle wheel is 15cm from the rim. The diameter of the wheel is 76cm at time = 1/2 sec, the reflector is at its lowest point; 3/4 sec later it returns to the same position.Find an equation which will locate the height of the reflector above the ground at any time t.

a) Find height when t=5.2 sec
b) Find the 1st time the reflector is at a height of 59cm above the ground

in august of last year (2006) i was knocked off my push bike by a motorist speeding 10 mph over the speed limit (40 Mph). It was on a mini roundabout, i was already half ay across the road, and he didnt stop at the white give way lines.

The accident left me in hospital for 15 days, with a shattered fibia and tibia. I have been off work ever since.

Any idea's on an ammount of compensation?
It happened in the uk aswel :)
