in august of last year (2006) i was knocked off my push bike by a motorist speeding 10 mph over the speed limit (40 Mph). It was on a mini roundabout, i was already half ay across the road, and he didnt stop at the white give way lines.

The accident left me in hospital for 15 days, with a shattered fibia and tibia. I have been off work ever since.

Any idea's on an ammount of compensation?
It happened in the uk aswel :)

Cheers

The case is going through court at the moment to work out who is responsible. Because the 'chav / boy racer' who knocked me over is claiming 50/50 responsability, which is far from true!

If it is in court that means you have an attorney - you will need to ask him/her.
