Given that a, b, and c are real numbers that satisfy:

a = sqrt(c^2 - (56/5)^2) + sqrt(b^2 - (56/5)^2)
b = sqrt(a^2 - 144) + sqrt(c^2 - 144)
c = sqrt(b^2 - (168/13)^2) + sqrt(a^2 - (168/13)^2).

Find the value of (a+c)/(2b)

If a husband has an affair and fathers a child with the other woman, can the other woman be sued by his spouse? If so, what would be the grounds for suing her? The spouse suffered mental, physical and emotional abuse during the time of the affair and the birth of the child. To date, the spouse still suffers abuse. Help.

I'm really want to help my friend, 17.. I just don't know what to tell her.
K, She was with her bf for about 8 months and just about a month ago they broke up, she broke up w/ him cuz she started to realize that she didnt really feel the same way about him that she used to.. plus she had a lot going on w/ her family, her father is sick and shes having trouble w/ our other friends that she figured a boyfriend was just too much extra to deal with at the time, and she didnt want to have to put him through all that.
But now, I've noticed shes beendown alot lately, thinking about him, she said she really misses him, little things always remind her of him. but she knows getting back 2gether with him probly isnt the best thing for her at the time andsays that he doesnt need to deal withsomebody in as tough a time as her.
But just, what can I say to her?, Ive never had a boyfriend before so I really dont know how she feels, and i really dont know how to put how i feel into words..

OK, I live in America, he lives in India. WE did have a three month courtship period. We saw each other once a month, and spoke every week on the phone. Now, i"m in the states, he's still in INdia, waiting to come over. We still only speak once a week. We agreed this was sufficient since neither had much to say to one another. I don't carry his pic wherever I go; I just don't. I don't want to loose it. plus, he's my guy, so sooner or later, he'll be seen by all. But it seems I'm a bit odd compared to most indian girls in love with their men...especially one's who are newly wed...because once a week is enough for me, and I have enough pics of him in my heart, and in my room, i don't need to carry it around. I hear we need to act inseparable, so then when we're together, it'll be common, and our marriage will flow smooth for years to come. We sort of act like an old married couple; but he's not complaining. We know we miss and love each other. We're just not outward 'bout it. I get advic

It's just so hard to choose.
I am not even a senior but my parents
are making me choose. I know for a fact
my back up job is going to be a U.S. History
teacher. Majoring in pharmacy and optometry
is going to be so hard . . . and I suck at science too
though. I think it's just amazing if I ever succeed in
either one.
