It's just so hard to choose.
I am not even a senior but my parents
are making me choose. I know for a fact
my back up job is going to be a U.S. History
teacher. Majoring in pharmacy and optometry
is going to be so hard . . . and I suck at science too
though. I think it's just amazing if I ever succeed in
either one.

I recommend pharmacy.

1) Great salary, expect to be paid 75-150k per year starting out!

2) flexible working schedule, what other profession allow you to choose the hours you want to work

3) many profession in one, if you don;t like retail or hospital you can do sales or management of a PBM firm and etc.

4) You will have time to start a family.

Which one better suits you? You can't give your parents a simple answer. Find what works for you. I understand how pushy parents can be. Just know that for pre-pharmacy be ready to increase your knowledge on chemistry when you're in college. You'll take inorganic, organic, physical, analytical chem, etc...but not just that you have other science and liberal arts classes to complete. You have to work hard for pre-professional programs.
