A colleague has just moved from Philadelphia to live here in the U.K. and she was telling me she is dreading not being home for thanksgiving. I thought it might be a nice thing to invite some friends round and have a celebration for her.

How do I do this properly? What do I cook? Any special traditions,customs to be observed etc,. Thanks for all advice.

I have an old system in my house, seperate hot water and central heating. Luckily my hot water is still working, but last week the pilot light went out so I have no central heating. We have tried re-lighting it, but it only stays on for a short time before going off again. We have cleaned out all the dust, but its still not working. Any advice?

Two days ago I had extremely helpful answers to my question about African Greys. Today please tell me about cages:
(1) What size cage ? -- Is it important for the bird to be able to flap his wings whilst inside the cage and as thef AG's wingspan being about 80 cm, should not the cage's width be at least 80 cms that in width ?
(2) Is there a trusted brand of cage makers we should go for ?
Anything else about cages you could advise me about ?
The bird will spend as much time as we can outside the cage
