the digitizer desnt seem to work after i hotsync it. and the battery seem to go very quickly

My T|X digitizer went due to scratches, but your problem sounds more serious. I simply replaced my digitizer with parts I ordered from http://pdaparts.com .
Yours sounds like it needs both a battery & a digitizer.
You may need to consider sending it in for service, upgrading to a new T|X (for about $250) or buying a used or refurbished Palm Vx or similar model on eBay.

The digitiser sounds like it needs replacement and the battery probably does too.

Proporta just claim 'Palm' repairs while PDAHut list explicit device types...and the V is not among them.
