I dislocated my shoulder before because of basketball. It was right shoulder, and yes I write with right hand.
I had surgery and use this kind of sling/shoulder supporter. It is killing me this few months but I hope I will get better soon.
So, its been 1 and a half months way of recovery (doc said 6 months then it will reheal totally), can I do some light exercises such as slowly raising my shoulder until chest level? cos it is kinda stiff right now.....and can I jog for few miles? I know my shoulder is not yet stable at this poin cos sometimes when I move my right arm little bit, even with sling, the shoulder creates a popping sound. The feel sometimes like sore for second but unhurt.Pls advice....Thanks!

I'm going to university in France where I can't work in for 4 years and I have saving of $50.000. Can I get $1.000 as a living cost every month by investing without losing anything from the saving of $50.000? I have been with my boyfriend for almost 4 years now, and have been living together for 2 of them. We even bought a condo and a cat together. Whenever I ask him if we're going to get married, he says yes someday, but implies that someday won't be any day soon. He did take me to look at rings a couple months ago which made me think it would happen soon, but then nothing happened. He told me today that "it's nothing personal," but he "just doesn't care about marriage" the way I do. He claims that marriage is just a contract and that we basically already are married. What should I think of this? We're in our 20s, with no previous bad experiences with exes.

I guess what I'm asking is this: is he going to propose to me someday soon, or am I supposed to be his girlfriend my whole life? Should I be offended that he only thinks of marriage as a contract?

I was in the check out at the local Bi-Lo with just a few items, and the lady behind me put her things on the belt close to mine.
I picked up one of those "dividers" that they keep by the cash register and placed it between our things so they wouldn't get mixed up.
After the blonde check-out chick had scanned all of my items, she picked up the "divider",looking it all over for the bar code so she could scan it.
Not finding the bar code she said to me, "Do you know how much this is?"
I said to her "I've changed my mind, I don't think I'll buy that today."
She said "OK," and I paid her for the things and left.
She had no clue to what had just happened.

I seem to be able to find lots of really nice carved wooden sets etc, but non of those really basic boards i used when i was at school!

Recently, when I went to McDonald's, I saw on the menu that you could have an order of 6, 9 or 12 Chicken McNuggets.
I asked for a half dozen nuggets.
"We don't have half dozen nuggets," said the blonde teenager at the counter.
"You don't?" I replied.
"We only have six, nine, or twelve," was the reply.
"So I can't order a half dozen nuggets, but I can order six?"
"That's right."
