i hate to admit it but it happens to me too, and plenty of other ladies. usually you just need to clean it more often in the shower or bath, otherwise you do get it irrated. (don't use soap to clean it) what helps me is....... well i'm a little bit uncomfortable saying this but if you sleep with no underwear in the morning it gets better. but put underwear on in the morning. and please use a tampon if your going to follow my instuctions a pad is no good for sleepin with no undies. lol.

Are there any other symptoms? Is there a white discharge of any kind,an odor, does it burn when you urinate? It could be just from too much wiping during your period or you could have a yeast infection.Soaking in the tub and applying cornstarch like a bath powder(no perfume)will help.If it is a yeast infection ,you can buy the medicine for it at a drug store in the family planning/personal hygene section of the drug store.Buy the kind with the external cream included(it,s in a small tube). It will be to put on the outside to relieve the inflammation amd the internal medicine is to put in to work while your sleeping.

I have a problem like this, it's called vulvodynia (pain of the external genital area) and it can be caused by a number of things such as the kind of pads you use to the kind of toilet paper you use. It can also be caused by other problems such as hormone imbalances or skin disorders.

I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think is going on.

To learn more about vulvodynia please check out: http://www.vulvarhealth.org

What I do when I need to wipe in that area I take the toilet paper (when on my periods) and lightly dab. I also use baby wipes the rest of the time when I have a flare going on from the vulvodynia.

I'll give advice to you to go a Gynecologist and tell your all vaginal problems frankly. And also, you can prevent your private parts,by avoiding the use other's towel, bad and smelling clothes, razors, cosmetic products. And make it your habit to clean your pvt.parts with a good herbal soap daily while taking bath.

Take a jug into the loo with you, and after weeing pour a jug of warm water over it. Pat, rather than wipe. If you are using pads, you might be slightly allergic to something in them.

Go see a doctor.
you really ought to get the advice of a health care professional.
you shouldn't rely on Q-and-A type internet sites for these kind of things.

hello,
I'm a 3rd year medical student...hem i think you should be more spesific in your question....i can't specifically answering that and be so sure in helping you with the probs....however, ...sometime, certain women may face the problem because different people have different kind of pain sensitivity..i think it is normal...but for further assistant...i think you should refer to the physician....and guys, gynecologist is doctor who is specialized for female reproductive system.....this probs is not reffering to menstruation cycle, i don't think you need to see gynecologist....

I only had one kid and everything feels different. Not to be gross but my tampons fall out at times! We are trying for another baby and I told hubby that I was going to ask for a couple extra stitches this time...LOL! Never hurts to ask =)
