Isotopes are elements with varying amount of neutrons, right? How do those elements become isotopes? Also, they emit radiation, right? But if neutrons have no charge and just have atomic weight, where is the radiation coming from? From the emission of neutrons?

During our forum debates on the BNP many of you have expressed the view that you would not vote for them because of their hard line stance on giving the indiginous people a ''Right to exist'' your terms for that being Nazi, Racist and so on. Apart from disagreeing with the BNP many of you agree that immigration is in fact a major problem in this country. So tell me which of the mainstream parties is going to take immigration on board and eliviate our concerns on this issue? and do you think that New Labour have helped immigration control by raising the quota 50000 to 250000 a year?

My husband has a child by another woman. They had the child support set at a certain amount which left us with money left over for the necessities and that's pretty much it 2 years ago. Ever since he got out of the marine corps he hasn't been paid as much and this is killing us. We lost our duplex cause we couldn't pay rent, sold our car, we're living with my mother and I'm 8 months pregnant. The mother agreed that it should be lowered but is taking no action and leaving us with 400 bucks a month to live on, which is less than what she gets. We've been selling as many things as we can, he's been doing as much side work people are willing to pay him for. I'm so scared that when the baby is born in a month we won't be able to take care of him. Is there anything we can do to speed up the change, or are we stuck waiting on her to do something?

I take Concerta (time-released Ritalin) for ADHD and my "friends" are always wanting some. They say it gets you high but I've been taking it for awhile and have never noticed this effect. All it does is calm me down and help me focus. Why would anyone want to get high off of an ADHD drug?

A few nights ago i told him that i was no longer happy, this was when i was driving home, and suddenly he started sobbing saying how much he loves me and how much it hurt him that i said that. We've been going out for 3 years, and he's never cried once infront of me, ever.

So i felt bad and i couldnt do it then... I know he is a suicidal type, when his life gets at an all time low, he becomes suicidal, since he was a child around 7 he was known to be self destructive. I dont know what to do... I still love him as a friend, but as a boyfriend... our romance kind of fizzled no matter how hard i tried to love him in a romatic way again, i don't think i can be with someone who i've fallen out of love with.

What can i do or say to him, i dont want him to hurt himself.

Some additional details...
Hes 21 and im a few weeks shy from 20

We also have a 2 year old girl together my parents adopted her

Were both getting our doctors degree

I found this experiment on permanent markers and I will be cutting out paper strips, and I have to draw a small dot near the bottom of the strip using the permanent marker and then hang it into a jar of 'solvent' (water, vinegar, nail polish remover.. etc) and my teacher said something about looking for the colors of the 'dot' rising up? what is the aim of this experiment? what is it investigating? T_T and what kind of markers should i be using? 3 markers of the same brand but different color? i'm really lost...

I think that's supposed to be the chemical reaction for rust. I tried to write it out as close as possible. Anyway, the reactants are supposed to be in the product, right? I see 4 iron elements but only 1 oxygen element on the product side. The reactant side had 3 of them so what's going on?

money in front of a camera sometimes get called a porn star.

Surely a hairdresser who cuts hair in a salon or who cuts hair when a camera is rolling is a hairdresser regardless?

Why the double standard here as if the one who has sex for money on camera is somehow better?

Should rephrase that as I feel sorry for both sets of women.. the first because there are often underlying drug/abuse/emotional issues and the second because they often seem charicatures/damaged by socialisation that women are sex objects.

Just curious how the distinction can be made - also how he or she for that matter can be called a porn actor - an actor pretends to do something - does not actually do it!

Know my views will be controversial and not with the majority given that being anti-exploitation/anti-porn-violence is not the 'in' thing..

You gotta realize: growing up encased in a conservative, pietist Christian church, I am given to emotional ideas about things. When someone tells me they are atheist, I seem to feel that they actually know a God exists; they simply like being able to act against Him. I mean, honestly, I instantly see them spitting on Jesus as he walks down that road with that cross. Moreover, I have always assumed that an atheist is uneducated on religion--if they had studied, surely they would understand. But after a rather exhaustive search, I've returned empty. Are there others, like me, who sincerely tried, but came back with nothing?
