My brother and his wife are expecting their first child in october and were wanting to call her Amelia Grace (if it was a girl they don't know what they are expecting).

Since that first descision, Mel has gone off the idea as so many people she knows and hears about are calling their girls amelia or grace. My boyfriend's cousin just had a baby girl and called her - Amelia Grace.

A quick look on here confirms that both names are on most people's lists.

Are these names in any TV programes or have there been any celebs having children that they have named either of these? I am not aware of any but then I don't really keep up with the celeb world or watch much TV.

There are the staples of the baby name world that have been popular for a while, but i'm surprised to see such an explosion of two particular names which I would think would be considered more old fashioned.

i always thought of texas as a progressive state, because of its cowboy history. if memory serves me correctly, i read in college that white, hispanics, and blacks settled texas and lived together in harmony. but the stuff i have been reading recently online about texas is opposite. so im kind of wondering about the place and if some texans can fill me in on what the place is really like, because i have a biracial child. thank you.

So my long time boyfriend recently asked me to marry him. The trouble is we don't know how to tell our families. We are young, I'm 18 and he's 19. We're not even planning on getting married until after I've graduated from college. Its not really my family that we are having problems telling. His side of the family is a little judgmental. So does anyone have any ideas on how to tell our family? Thanks!

I just spent 2 weeks with my fiancee and his family. After seeing everyone in his family, I am seriously considering backing out. I love him more than anything, but my mother married into my father's crazy family and they have made her life miserable. These people, my fiancee's family are absolutely crazy, disrespectful, rude, illmannered. They actually thought I was weird or strange because I say "Mister" and "sir" or "ma'am". I cant even talk about all the crap I went through. His mother constantly was in our business, never gave us privacy, and tried to invite herself everywhere. It's really not something I want to deal with forever and they aren't people I want to see again nor would I want my kids around. However, I love him and he treats me like a queen.

so obviously president bush doesnt give a crap about the environment. hes actually paid by the oil companies to shut up about. but what makes me laugh more is his stupidity. hydrogen technology is probably the cleanest and best way we can stop global warming. president bush know about it, what he do? well hydrogen can be produced 2 different ways...out of water....and out of fossil fuels. he signed a paper stating hydrogen must be taken from fossil fuels, which gives the oil companies more money, and it still pollutes that way! so what do we do now? take it in our own hands?

Examples:

"How can I download such-and-such-a book?"
"How can I get published?"
"Should I put my writing online?"

and other variations of the above. Every single one of the above questions have been more than well-answered - If people take the trouble to look in the archives that is. These are just observations I have made in the Books and Authors section. Such repetition of question pushes other questions down and on to the next page, where nobody looks - sometimes I see a question with only one answer to it. I think that overall, this detracts from the Yahoo! Answers experience.

What do you think?

Why is it so important to fill in one's race in official forms while in Malaysia while one is a Malaysian just like everyone else?

Worst part of all is that these forms DO NOT seem to be sensitive towards the person who signs it. It states 'Bangsa' (nationality) rather than 'Keturunan' or 'Kaum'.

So, its true that non-Malays and Bumis are considered 'immigrants' in their own country?
