1. AGLET - The plain or ornamental covering on the end of a shoelace.

Don't know whether these should be imported into short story writing or unusual baby names category. But thanks anyway!

By the way, 'ferrule' also means the rubber or metal tip on the end of a walking stick, 'ferrule' because they were originally made of metal.

# 9.... I find it odd that as the notes get shorter, the names for them get longer.
