okay i feft my home city 2yrs. 9mons. ago now i'm back with my partner and my ex knew i was here 5 min after my parents did and has tryed to contact me my question is should i tell my partener we've had trust isues before on my part not cheating but accused we said we would never keep sercrets but this would also bring problems no i have not talked to him and would really be happy spending the rest of my life not talking to him so do i tell or not

Yes you should call him and tell him that you want to meet him to talk about some serious issues. Then go to a quit place where you wont be disturbed for some time.
Then tell it to him without any frills.
This should be said in a quit tone.
Neautral voice.
Composed way.
You are a nice person so why convey anything in a nasty way..right?
Just tell him and then walk away don wait for his reactions or listen to his arguments.
Make a clean cut.
Do it now.
Don postpone it.

words of wisdom? talk to him without any malicious feelings since he was your ex, say to him the situation very briefly but accurate and concise, then ask him if he's alright if he does reacted badly, explain again on a nice way and make it sure this time, he will realize that you're right on your decision you two must both move on, say to him that he deserve someone who will care for him and love him more. If he tried to contact once, might run into you somewhere with your partner, and seems to know where you are. I would tell my partner about it - them finding out later that you kept a secret is bound to be worse than fessing up now.

Tell your ex that you have moved on, and you would prefer if he did not call you any more because you are in another relationship. Hang up and block his calls.
