i'm on the birth control called yasmin. i was wondering whether it would make a big diffference if i completely skipped the last pills. (the sugar pills) and jumped straight into the next pack. would it completely mess up my cycle or can i control my period that way? is it harmful to my body in any way? i've never done it, i was just curious about it

I'm in a HUGE mess.... I'm going to be a Freshman in September and I'm taking Academic French as a core class! The problem is.... I'M NOT READY FOR IT! I do know a little bit, but I've only taken French for 1 1/2 yrs (it seems like a lot, but I didn't learn a thing) and I just barely got a 60-something percentage! My teacher told everyone in the class that we are ALL knowledgeable enough to be in Academic classes and not the dumb ones this yr at high school, but maybe she forgot that everyone in the class has had more French experiance than me...? What's worse is that I already checked if I can change my schedule, but it's too late! I'm booked for the most hard French classes ever! So now I have to learn the basics of french and how to make sentances in all these forms and stuff in 3 wks!!! DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS ON HOW THIS IS POSSIBLE OR CAN HELP ME OUT IN ANY WAY?IF U KNOW HOW TO SPEAK FRENCH? OR KNOW A GOOD WEBSITE(S)? EVERY REPLY WILL BE APPRECIATED!! I DON'T WANT TO FAIL =''(

Seriously.. I got up at 7am today, went to court until 2pm, came home and layed down for an hour and picked up my neice.. ran around with that little devil until 9:30pm and felt absolutely fine. I took a 30 minute nap and woke up and my throat is killing me, im FREEZING (seriously its soooo cold...), my head is freakin pounding, and i keep gettin the goosebumps and they feel like needles goin in me.. And i have a temp. of 100.2F (i know thats not bad but still). All of this happened right after a 30 minute nap.. I dont get it!! I think im dying....

why should anyone adult read for pleaure?

instead of reading, i think adults should all do other beneficial activites, like spend time with family, friends, tv, EXERCISE, EXERCISE, relaxing, etc.

I am a family doctor and i feel that reading pleaure books will do nothing in my life. I know how to read, and would like to do something pleasurable in my relaxing time. I rather just do somehting else. I am not going to school, so why should i practice reading.

People who are in school should practice reading, and not adults (this is my opinion, it is your choice if you want to read or not, so dont get me wrong)
