The Bible teaches that Christ was born of the Virgin Mary, but Mormons teach otherwise. Why?

"Christ was begotten by an Immortal Father in the same way that mortal men are begotten by mortal fathers" (Mormon Doctrine, p. 547, 1979).

Brigham Young taught: "The birth of the Savior was as natural as are the births of our children; it was the result of natural action. He partook of flesh and blood---was begotten of his Father as we were of our fathers" (Journal of Discourses vol.8, p.115); and "when the Virgin Mary conceived the child Jesus, the Father had begotten him in his own likeness [flesh and blood]. He was not begotten by the Holy Ghost" (Journal of Discourses, vol.1, p.50).

Joseph Fielding Smith wrote: "The birth of the Savior was a natural occurrence unattended by any degree of mysticism, and the Father God was the literal parent of Jesus in the flesh as well as in the spirit" (Religious Truths Defined, p.44).

Ok, this is pertained to the address book. With my old phone when you had more than one entry for one person such as lets say they had a cell phone number and a work number it would store it only under one name. But I noticed when you do this it will make two seperate entries.

And another thing, you can't decide what type of number it is when you want to save the entry to your sim card. It doesn't seem to give you as many options as if you want to save it to your phone. You can't choose whether it's a cell phone, a work number, house number, etc.

a couple of months ago i went to an asperger's clinic because my mum thought i had it. so i went along for an hour, i was asked to sit outside and look at poorly black and white photocopied facial expressions and choose from a list of what they were eg. suprised, shocked, happy. i did this outside while my mum talked to the lady. anyway i went back in and she asked me about my childhood and because from grade 6-8 my best friend was asian (she was australian born - not just some immigrant that couldnt speak english) that that was a sign that i had asperger's and also the fact that i prefer other races to white people (i am white myself). I also suffer from depression. And after years of being bullied at school - (for being 'ugly' not 'different') i find that constantly being scared of people calling me ugly is what makes me hold back in social situations - i haven't told anyone this because im ashamed. however on that basis do you think that my diagnosis was fair?

i hate running...but i play college soccer. every year at preseason camp we have to run 2 miles in 14 minutes. i never make the time but i am in great shape when it comes to sprints, i beat every one, every time and the same goes for during games. this year i want to make the time but i have to run it on the 17th of august. i ran it in 16 minutes today. what can i do to shave 2 minutes off of my time with 3 weeks to go?!
