If there were the answer to every problem of this world scribbled on a crumpled piece of paper at the bottom of a land fill, How many people would go searching for it?

If there was the biggest lie in a splendidly bound volume, how many people would believe it?

What has the greater influence, the message or the package?

Thanks.

My understanding is in the same period of the Alamo, Texas's provisional Gov't authorized the initial recruitment of 25 Rangers which later expanded into 3 companies. These men were half citizen, half cavalry units who had previously fought Mexican bandits, Comanche & others at least 15 years prior to formation of the T/Rangers. I also understand Hispanic volunteers & friendly tribesmen also served? I assume they were designated a Militia group & not therfore under the direct control of the US Army? However, for some reason it seems they were, at that time, the only armed group that could be mustered into the USA military for wartime service? Indeed, in that capacity they fought in the Mexican war(s) as scouts and were equally effective serving as irregular light infantry,

1) To what extent today do they actully serve are responsible for? Is it an independant Texas force, comparable to the FBI? & what is their authority? i.e. are they limited to the protection of Texas only?

I am so sick and tired of my job, and it is very boring. I get payed 9.25 an hour, and then i get comission off of what i sell. I cant quit because i have payments... and I do a pretty good job, but it is so boring... what can i do at work to keep myself awake!? i just need some modivation...

This is a strange behavior that has been going on for quite some time now. Whenever my cat is really content, like he's being pet and whatnot, he would get right up to my face, and nibble at my chin, and if I let him keep doing it, he will actually bite down fairly hard. And it's not only on my chin either, it's really on any place that protrudes, may it be my nose, finger, etc., but the chin seems to be his favorite place. He is not AT ALL aggressive when this happens, and like I said, he only displays this behavior when he is content, and getting pet. It's not an aggravated action at all. The only solution I came up with is that it's kind of instinct from when he was nursing, because when he's this content, he's generally kneading, drooling, and all that cat stuff. Is this theory actually possible? Is he biting down because it's instinctive from his birth, just like kneading and drooling is? Or can it be something else? Tips and advice appreciated!

I NEED! links for baby portable playpens. I need it to be under $80. If it had a bassinet at the top that would be even better for him to sleep by my bed. I don't really want an actual bassinet because I want him to be able to play in it and stay in there so I'm not holding him or following him around every second.

"Gang" usually refers to curries. But a Thai friend told me it actually refers to any soupy dishes -- not necessarily something spicy. So Green Curry Chicken, Tom Yum Kung, and even Cabbages in Broth are referred as "Gang". How would you categorize that in English? Does "Curry & Soupy Dishes" sound ok?

Seeing how the world is changing and people seem to accept young women having older men as their partners, do you think its acceptable for older men to go after 18 year old high school girls? Sounds ridiculous to me but some people here seem to think that there's no problem with it. Some posters say things like " If she's mature enough.." etc If you really believe this idea then you shouldn't have a problem with old men hanging around high schools looking for women or going to the grocery store in the afternoon to find a cashier to be a girlfriend. Am I wrong about this? Don't you think there is something wrong with men pushing aside their wives and women of their own age for innocent flesh?

I am 22 (female), and I've been having pain in my left arm for about three days. The first day it was from the elbow to the forearm and now its just in the bicep. It kind of feels like a mix of muscle exhaustion and a pinched vein (I haven't done any exercises which could cause it). The arm doesn't have any discoloration or swelling. I have never had heart problems. My blood pressure is always low... 100/75 average, pulse between 70-85. I'm always healthy, so I'm a bit concerned...I'll probably go to the doctors in a couple days if it doesnt go away, but any opinions would be much appreciated!
