Do you believe in elves and that there real?i dont mean gay santa elves ither i mean like legolas of lord of the rings type elves?

OK HERE IS THE THING-YES YES YES ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND I HAVE SEEN ELVES. FIRSTLY TO MAKE IT CLEAR ELVES LIVE IN THE WOODS AND MOSTLY IN TREES AS WITH EVOLUTION THEIR BODY TEXTURE STARTED GETTING LESS DENSE AND THEY CAN BECOME INVISIBLE WHEN THEY WANT. ONCE MY FAMILY AND MY FRIENDS AND I WENT CAMPING AND WE WERE IN THE MOUNTAINS. THEN I WENT TO DO YOU KNOW WHAT BEHIND A SHRUB AND I SAW IT. THERE IT WAS ABOUT 70CM TALL WITH POINTED EARS AND LONG FINGERS. THE STRANGEST THING IS THAT IT WAS SPEAKING TO ME WITHOUT MOVING ITS MOUTH-MORE LIKE TELEPATHY. ANYWAY I GOT SO SCARED AND I SCREAMED THEN EVERYONE CAME TO SEE ME(I MANAGED TO GET MY PANTIES BACK ON :)) AND THEY SAW IT TO. IT STAYED THERE FOR A MINUTE AND THEN JUST DISAPPEARED.LATER ON THAT NIGHT I KEPT HEARING ITS VOICE IN MY HEAD. JUST LIKE BEFORE IT WAS CALLING ME BY MY NAME AND IT SAID THAT IT WANTED TO TELL ME SOMETHING IMPORTANT BUT I KINDLY ASKED IT TO GO AWAY AS I WAS NOT READY AND WAS SCARED. NOW IF IT WAS A HALLUCINATION -I DO NOT THINK THAT MORE THAN 20 PEOPLE COULD HALLUCINATE AT THE SAME TIME AND MAKE IT UP. PLUS TWO OF MY FRIEND THAT WERE WITH ME IN MY 'HUT' COULD HEAR THE VOICE CALLING ME TOO. SO YES I DO BELIEVE THEY EXIST AS I HAVE SEEN ONE.

Sure. It's funny how one person can believe in one thing but not others. There is so much we have not seen that are constantly around us. Why believe in the Lord in the Rings elves but not in the Santa elves?

I believe in elves and fairies, I saw fairies as a child as did a friend of mine. It's funny, I never really told anybody about it growing up, my family was very religious and would have thought me crazy. A few months ago, my friend and I were talking about paranormal stuff and I finally brought it up. He just got this look on his face and admitted he had seen them as a kid as well. My husband believes it's because my friend and I are Irish and maybe that's why we could see them. I don't know, but it was amazing. I think many things exist that as adults, we close our minds to.

Well I don't believe specifically in the elves from Tolkein, since he made them up, BUT I think all things that recur often in fiction are based on something in "real life."
Since pretty much EVERY culture in the world has stories/myths about some sort of elfin creatures, it would be silly to think that they were all based on nothing.
So I guess you could say yes, I believe in elves.

yeah!! They existed once upon a time!!! I believed that because i used to dream of some elves talk to me and they said that i belong to their realm and they will wait for me until my life's ending!! Cool!! They exist, it only our technology, our development destroys the nature, destroys their home!!!......
no more elves in the city now!!! But i still believed thy are living in somewhere on this earth or on another realm!!! another time!! another dimension!!

i don't know about elves, but i know that crab people who are half human, half crab and live underground are totally real.
i suppose that lord of the rings type elves can exist in certain regions.

the mytho beings that are talked about in most stories i believe live but not in this time and space maybe in a different one that we may some day be able to cross over in a more physical sense right now it is dream only.
