somebody i know gave me 4 small kittens that he found in his backyard to take care of. I have no experienceb but to me they seem to be 2 or 3 weeks. I went to nearby pet store and bought feeding bottle and milk. After one week on only milk, I thought they might need additional food supply, and their milk is so expensive. i bought soft food can from walmart written on in for kittens and cats. But my kittens didn't accept it. i thought i might need to smash it, and i did together with milk in the blender. They like it, but i have to give it to them with the bottle. I just enlarge its hole. Now i got tired of them. Too much work to feed them with feeding bottle around 5 or 6 times a day. How to let them leave the bottle and eat from their own bowl, as this will be much easier for me than feed one by one and the other 3 cried for food waiting for their turn. I tried with them, but they didn't accept and kept meow for food through the feeing bottle. Please advice! and help me! PLEASE

I've been considering this for a while now, and I've finally decided to go ahead and get it done. You only live once, right? I've been looking it up and such, but I've got three questions for you guys.

1. What are the chances of migration and/or rejection? I know it's different for each person, I just want to know roughly what the chances are.

2. How long would I need to wait before I can wear any kind of decoration on the barbells, like shields, etc.? I know it'd be silly to do it soon after, I'm just curious.

3. Can you choose between the barbell and the ring for the initial jewlery? I'd rather not have the suckers catch on anything with rings.

Please, no comments about how ugly you think it is or how you think I shouldn't do it. I think they're beautiful, and I'm not about to change my mind because of your opinion. :P

I have a theory of sadism: the emotion that makes one find pleasure in inflicting pain or watching people suffer. What do you think? People who are sadistic verbally or physically are that way because they are very miserable with their lives. If they see someone content with their life, it infuriates them because they say to themselves, "What right does that person have in feeling good when I feel so bad?" So when the other person DOES feel bad, it gives them pleasure because in their mind they are thinking something like, "Good! Now you know what it feels like to be miserable like me!"

the most popular theories hold the univers to be around 13.7 billion years old, give or take .2 billion.

I occasionally read of deep space objects in the neighborhood of 9 or 10 billion or more light-years distant, with accompanying "we're looking back into the past shortly after the big-bang" statements.

Considering an object, say, at one edge of the universe, at 3.7 billion years of age. By relativity the universe would have not been more than 7.4 billion light-years in extent.

By Michelson-Morley, light from such an object would take not more than 7.4 billion years to reach its destination, even if the universe is bigger by the time it gets there.

How do astronomers get around this when they claim to be able to see back that far? Are they looking at reflected/refracted light?

The following image is supposed to be an image of the deluxe US copy for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Note it appears to be Harry, Ron, and Heromine riding a dragon, totally different from the Harry and Voldemort cover for the regular US edition. So could this mean that Norbert will be returning for the final book? The image does kinda resemble the movie version of Norbert, only full grown.

But my question is a wider one... why does the media think that that beauty can only be found in a certain colour skin or certain features?? The WORLD is a big place and besides doesn't it come in many colours, shapes and forms???

Okay, well, my sister's husband has 2 kids from an ex-wife. I feel bad for them because I feel like the family treats them differently than the other kids that aren't steps. For example, they spend "half" on b-days as they would the others in the family. Is this fair? Should stepkids be treated equally??

if i have an old credit account closed and charged off in may of 1999 is it legal for it to be transferred again and the new collector updates the debt to valid as of today on my report is this legal or can i sue them for fraudulent practices I have had zero communication with anybody in the entire 6 years.

Searching for symbols within Yahoo!Answers is inconsistent,
here is what you get if you search on various symbols
(some are Alt-codes and some are HTML characters):

Most alt-codes e.g. integral (∫), square-root(√), infinity (∞), (≈) => these all match the word 'and' - useless!?

squared (²) => also matches '2', which makes it useless

Greek letters:
capital Sigma (Σ) => returns both Σ and lower σ , which is meaningless in science (instead of if you were searching for Greek-language, in which case it would be correct).
Similarly θ => θ,Θ
α,β,λ,µ...

Anyone find anything else inconsistent, weird or quirky with any other symbols?

Maybe if we kick up a fuss they might fix this... please contribute...
