I have a large equilateral triangle inscribed with another equilateral triangle and inside that is a third equilateral triangle .
How does the area of the smaller triangle compare to the area of the large triangle?

A) They truly are the "mouths" of their constituents and have decided through massive public outrage over the bill to not support it.

B) They got scared that supporting it would mean they wouldn't get elected next year. Their desire to stay in power outweighs any pressure from McCain, Bush, and Kennedy.

Why do people hate? I mean...not hating your father your molesting you, or loathing the injustices in the world. I mean why do people have to just HATE gays, different races, etc. It doesn't feel good to hate. It feels good to love! I just don't get it...give me some input, it's interesting to read.
(yes, this was inspired by Reverand Jon's question about homosexuality if you had the chance to read that)

I was reading the paper today and there was an article about something called "Conservapedia" - I never heard of it before. It's designed to be a "encyclopedia written from a conservative viewpoint". I checked the site out and one of their requirements for articles is - - When referencing dates based on the approximate birth of Jesus, give appropriate credit for the basis of the date (B.C. or A.D.). "BCE" and "CE" are unacceptable substitutes because they deny the historical basis. - - Not surprisingly, this site was started by Phyllis Schlafly's son.

Thoughts on this?

I moved jobs for the first time and found out that I could rollover my old 401k into a rollover IRA and can now invest in stocks. Should I be aggressive in my investments? On the one hand, I am 30+ years from retirement and I don't have to pay capital gains, so I can buy and sell at will. On the other hand, this is my retirement money (although only a small amount of my retirement money since I'm still contributing to my current job's 401k).

Remember when you read the gospels. The ones that spoke about the life of Jesus, what he stood for, the miracles he performed, the challenges he encountered, and the pesky Pharisees whom he spend a whole lota time debating and teaching. I remember reading how Jesus saw the Pharisees as people cought up in teaching and preaching the law but their hearts where empty. They did not know God. They spend their time believing themselves self righteous and becouse in their feable minds they believed they were serving God they thougth they had the right to. I also remember how Jesus put them on their spot. How he tought them that God must be experienced with the heart and not the mouth. I remember jesus spending most of his time going against these self righteous man who were leading people astray.

Now I see alot of right wing christians doing the same thing these pharisees were but they still dont realize it. Maybe thats why jesus must return. To teach them a lesson!

so my parents want to get a new car like right now and the problem is in only 10 days i am taking my behind the wheel license test. and then if i do get my license i have to drive our minivan.

i talked to my mom and when i complained about how embarassing its going to be, she said i should be glad that im getting a car and that im acting like a spoiled kid.

i dont mind having an old car thats ugly or anything but a minivan?!?!?!.

what should i do???

... the USA did not invade Iraq, and had a totally different image on the world stage. And was not mired in a war with no end in sight?

What I mean is, Iran (and North Korea) both seem to be exploiting the fact that the USA is just not in a position politically or militarily to launch another war.

I told my grilfriend that I thought I was small in the pants and what scares me most is that her reaction how she was.(shocked) Anyways then she tells me that it doesn't matter because she loves me since I treat her nice and I'm good with her. Personally I thought it was a big mistake telling her about my situation but then again I rather let her know now then to later on go all the way and she might regret it. by the way here's what makes me worry even more is that her mom left her dad and she's currently w/someone else and that makes me wonder will she do the same to me??? so I need advice from you I need sincere answers please
