Over the last 23 years I have found myself being constantly told that I talk like a white person or am perceived to want to be white. I am just curious as to how it is that white people speak that is so different from black people. Essentially if we are American shouldn't we all speak English with one accent or another depending on what region one is from.

songs for a landscaper?
Im having a sweet 16 and I need a candle lighting song suggestion for my uncle whos a landscaper. I want a song dealing with the outside and landscaping for him, my cousin chose the theme song for green acres for him when she was 16 but I dont wanna use the same song as her. Thanks!!!!!!!

I just got out of a 6 year relationship. We have 2 kids together and he left me for another girl. The thing is this girl is really ugly. I know looks don't matter, but really she is. She changed her look last week to look just like me( dyed her hair, straightened it, tanned). Anyways...how do I get over a broken heart if I have my kids that remind me of him?? I'm trying my best not to be too upset around the kids, but it is really hard to do. I've been trying to keep busy and go to peoples houses, but all I do is think about him. He left Friday, and I don't know what to do....I miss him, and I know he screwed me over. Maybe, I just miss the fact of him being here, I don't know. I don't even have any friends to talk to, only his mom, which he feels he did me wrong also. Does anyone have any advice for me??

My daughter lives with her Dad in another state. She turns 15 on Saturday. I sent her some gifts for her birthday. She has not opened them yet, but she did send me a Thank you e-mail.

My parents are not in touch with my daughter though now. She spent the summer with me and they got close to her then.

However, now she does not talk to them much. I had bought her a cell phone, but her Dad did not want her to have it so I canceled it.

Should my parents do anything for my child for her birthday? My mom has a sarcastic attitude toward it and that sometimes bothers me. She mentioned to my aunt on the phone just now that she hadn't even thought about how my child's birthday was going to be celebrated.

Also, should I tell my parents what I sent my child? I don't feel its any of their business, but they feel hurt if I don't share things with them.

He states that once he apologizes for his actions or venomous words that he knows that he is all right with god thus it is ok to continue to do. He does a lot of damage doing this. I would love a quote from the bible that states something against his actions / apology. Help?
