you can try www.about.com in the beading area and see what you find for chokers, you can get a car washing chamois and cut in strips about 2 inches wide and apply beads to it for a different look use cord or narrow strips of leather for ties on the back, you can learn macrame and make tons of chokers that way, i suggest looking up www.elainecrafts.com for that one. you could crochet some strips for them as well, and for formal occassions, get velvet ribbon and put a beautiful bead or button on the center front .

There are loads of ways to make your own beads with polymer clay! (large, small, any shape, any style, any color, any pattern, etc.) . . . or you could use an air-dry clay in some of the same ways.
Then there are loads of ways to string or mount those so that you could end up with zilliions of ways of covering that area decoratively.
Polymer clay beads, or various other shapes or small items made from polymer, could be used for making dreamcatchers too.
My website is an encyclopedia of polymer clay information, lessons, examples, etc., so if you're interested, you could start with these pages in particular:
http://glassattic.com/polymer/beads.htm
....http://www.glassattic.com/polymer/beads-holes.htm
http://glassattic.com/polymer/jewelry.htm (necklaces,bracelets,earrings,hair,etc)
http://glassattic.com/polymer/pendants_cording.htm
http://glassattic.com/polymer/buttons.htm
http://glassattic.com/polymer/wire.htm
http://glassattic.com/polymer/miniatures.htm
http://xglassattic.com/polymer/mixing_media.htm
(paper, metal, fabric, feathers, etc)
And if you're interested in making "fauxs" or simulations of various materials from polymer clay --for the beads, dreamcatchers, or just in general-- there are a lot of possibilities there too --e.g., faux turquoise, shell, metals, wood, jade, stone, etc., etc. ).
Here are some of the pages you might want to look at for making all kinds of fauxs:
http://glassattic.com/polymer/Faux--many.htm (jade/pearl/metal/stone/raku/amber,etc.)
http://glassattic.com/polymer/faux-ivory.htm
http://glassattic.com/polymer/faux--turquoise_wood.htm
http://glassattic.com/polymer/inclusions.htm
There are many ways to make different patterns, textures, colors, etc on/in polymer beads or other items too, but they would be discussed on their separate technique pages at the site. The best way to find them all would just be to check out the whole *Table of Contents* page for my site:
http://glassattic.com/polymer/contents.htm
(...to browse, just scroll all the way down... when you find a page you'd like to investigate, check on its name from inside the alphabetical navigation bar on the left side)
There's no way I could refer to all the "Indian" type things one could do with polymer clay, but you might get lots of other good ideas by using Google's "cache" feature.... that is, click on this link and Google's search for the word "Indian" at my whole site will come up.
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLC,GGLC:1969-53,GGLC:en&q=Indian+site:glassattic%2ecom
Then click on any of the pages... on each page scroll all the way down and all instances of the word "Indian" will be highlighted in yellow so you can easily check them out.
