My 7 year old LOVES to order things but not actually eat or drink it. She just MUST have this or that....it's the thing she has always wanted her entire life 'OH PLEASE CAN I HAVE IT??"

I have put an end to this by telling her if she is thirsty AFTER we leave the house, she must buy her own drink (with money she has gotten from birthdays, xmas ect). Or if she is hungry, she can buy her own overpriced happy meal. Now she seems to never be hungry or thirsty and is VERY choosey on the toys she wants. Who else does this?

I remember reading an old short story where a man mistakenly gets lost in a train / subway station and stumbles across a ticket counter that is set in the 1800's. He doesn't get on the train, but then spends months trying to go back and find the counter again....eventually you know he did because you read an 'old' letter in his house attic written by him after he 'went back in time'

I'd really like to find this story if anyone can help!

Thanks -S

I live in florida...after speaking with an IRS agent in collections..she said that my current boyfriend would have to pay for my taxes. Is this correct...just seems odd....we are not engaged and she is threatning to take his vehicle for my delq taxes. I have offered to set up an installment plan...but she stated she would have to run that by her manager. Any feedback would be hlpful.

If He dies on Friday He cannot be rose in Sunday, because according to bible “Matthew 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. “
It should be 3 days and 3 nights if we compute it Friday to Sunday it’s only 2 days.
Is this another erroneous ideas of the Catholic?

By definition, to covet something means to wish for it. Let's say my neighbor bought a fancy new bible. I saw his new bible and I said, "I wish I had one of those." What's wrong with that?

OR....how about this....Let's say my neighbor brought his teenage girlfriend over when his wife was on vacation. Would it be wrong if I said, "I wish your girlfriend would leave you." I'm coveting his girlfriend but I'm also concerned about his marriage. Where do you draw the line?
