During the Salem Witch trials supposed ‘witches were put on trial and either burned alive or sent to prison. Being that it is more recent science can look at the history of this and find out what really happened.
The witches were just drugged out hippies on mushrooms and other psychedelic drugs. They themselves thought they were witches and would go to crazy orgy parties and get loaded.
The Puritans had lousy food storage and some of their food was tainted with a mold that caused hallucinations. So when they started trippin’ they thought the witches had put a spell on them. When their children died from poison in the mold they thought the crazy hippies had killed them with their evil power. So they burned the hippies at the stake.
This was just 400 years ago. If this had happened in the Old Testament times then it would have been a bible story. Some would even say that the witches were real back then and God had punished them. If this was the belief of religious extremists just 400 years ago, what kind of ideas do you think they had about the world over 3,000 years ago?

A big shot attorney had to spend a couple of days in the hospital.
He was a royal pain to the nurses because he bossed them around
just like he did his staff. None of the hospital staff wanted to have
anything to do with him.

The head nurse was the only one who could stand up to him. She came
into his room and announced, "I have to take your temperature."

After complaining for several minutes, he finally settled down,
crossed his arms and opened his mouth. "No, I'm sorry, the nurse stated,
"but for this reading, I can't use an oral thermometer."

This started another round of complaining, but eventually he rolled over
and bared his behind. After feeling the nurse insert the thermometer, he
heard her announce, " I have to get something. Now you stay JUST
LIKE THAT until I get back!"

She leaves the door to his room open on her way out! He curses
under his breath as he hears people walking past his door, laughing.
After a half hour, the man's doctor comes into the room. "What's
going on here?" asked the doctor.

Angrily, the man answers, "What's the matter, Doc? Haven't you ever
seen someone having their temperature taken?"

After a pause, the doctor confesses, "Not with a carnation".

If GOD is all knowing, all powerful, and knowing the future, why was Satan, a creation of GOD, able to disrupt the plan of the earthly paradise so easily in the Garden of Edan?
It MUST have been part of the plan because purfection makes no mistakes.

After living in the remote wilderness of Kentucky all his life, an old hillbilly decided it was time to visit the big city.

In one of the stores he picks up a mirror and looks in it. Not ever having seen one before, he remarked at the image staring back at him, "How about that! Here's a picture of my dear daddy."

He bought the 'picture', but on the way home he remembered his wife didn't like his father none. So he hung it in the barn, and every morning before leaving for the fields, he would go there and look at it.

His wife began to get suspicious of these many trips to the barn. One day after her husband left, she searched the barn and found the mirror.

As she looked into the glass, she fumed, "So that's the ugly ***** he's runnin' around with."

My wife just bought me a fantastic fountain for outside - it's concrete and in seven different sections - each section of course getting considerably lighter as it gets to the top.

Here's my delimia - we had to pick it up in the truck and I could load everything myself except the largest basin. The employees at the concrete place helped load that section. Now that I'm home, I have no way to get it off the ground!!!
My wife is small and my son is too small to do much good at this point. We just moved here so we have no friends, all my close neighbors are elderly women who live alone and the people at the concrete business wouldn't deliver.

Now I have a 200.00 fountain that I can't use because I can't get it set up (grrrrrr!)

Any suggestions on how one tiny man can lift this by himself - just about two feet off the ground?

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!

Aren't the poor and down-trodden deserving of government assistance in bettering their lives? Its obviously impossible for someone to work their way up from a minimum wage job to one thats higher paying since community college costs hundreds of thousands of dollars. This deters people from attempting to educate themselves. We need more blame placed on rich CEO's for the plight of the poor and the government to force them to pay 100 dollars per hour to level the playing field. Its not like CEO's worked hard to get there. The guy who dropped out of high school, smoked weed, cranked out 4 kids he couldn't afford who hangs drywall all week is just as important to society at the doctors and lawyers out there. We need more laws to stick it to the rich and educated who run businesses and provide jobs to make the world fair again. Am I right? Think of the children people!

I haven't ever done a thorough study of Genesis so I want to research her question before I give her an answer.

I don’t usually talk or even think like this but I just got done answering a very racially charged question and it put me in this state of mind. I’m black and I work for my brother’s media company we do websites logos graphic design TV commercials, that type of thing I believe we do good work http://realitymediadesign.com/ people look at our clients and say “Oh you’re an urban company” we’re not trying to be an urban company “URBAN PEOPLE” for the most part the only ones who will work with us. We go after a somewhat large client who are white they turn us down then a couple of months later they choose a less talented white company to do their website TV, commercial etc. I just don’t get it. My question is what makes it so hard for white people to trust us?
