I have seen two people in my life that I am convinced were under the control of Satan.

One was my next door neighbor. He was a person that felt everyone else on the earth was put here to "help" him any way he asked of them. If you did not "help," i.e. anything he asked of you, then he and his 'thug-friends' would make your life miserable. Fortunately, he moved away after 10 long years.

The second one was my former boss at work. He was promoted, I got his old job. He did not want the promotion, did not want anyone to have his old job. So he went on a 15 year grudge and verbal assault against me to try to force me to be fired, or quit.

He finally quit and I still have the job.

BOTH men were, in my opinion, working directly under the command of Satan. They were terrible, angry, violent men.

"The mind is unstable and flighty. It wanders wherever it desires. Therefore it is good to control the mind. A disciplined mind brings happiness."

"Fear has he none, whose mind is not defiled by passion, whose heart is devoid of hatred, who has surpassed (the dichotomy of) good and evil and who is vigilant."

"He whose mind is not steady is ignorant, whose tranquillity is ruffled, the wisdom of such a man does not come to fullness."

"The mind is incomprehensible and exceedingly subtle. It wanders wherever it desires. Therefore, let the wise aspirant watch over the mind. A well-guarded mind brings happiness."

An ill-directed mind does greater harm to the self than a hater does to another hater or an enemy to another enemy.

"Neither father nor mother, nor any other kindred, can confer greater benefit than does the well-directed, disciplined mind."
