My lawn is coming around and gettin green fro the spring. I have been watering it more frequently than before. But as the grass has been growing I have noticed bare spots. I have overseeded and fertilized it but yet no signs of improvement. Any ideas on how to fix this and maintain the grass as green as can be?

OK heres the thing I said something to my teacher that wasn't really bad but every other teacher thinks it was. I got to a Christian school so they're really tough. But other kids in my class say things a LOT worse than what I said and they never get in trouble, BUT EVERY OTHER TEACHER HEARS IT!!! I got a detention for the littlest bad thing I said but everyone else gets away with it. Is that fair?

An illiterate Hindu man died in India who had acquired quite a bit of property in his lifetime. He retired after educating all his children who live good lives abroad and are all professionals making good money. He had 4 children and a wife. He had always told his wife that when he dies she will be the owner of all his property. One of his children had witnessed this conversation. Not knowing about making a written will or the importance of it since he was illiterate, can what he said to his wife be considered an oral will and hold up in an Indian court?

His kids are now fighting to get their share of the property which would pretty much leave his wife who is sick with a chronic illness with barely anything to live on. According to the Hindu Succession Act each one is entitled to a share of the property.

The kids have not in the past or intend to in the future contribute to their mother's well being ,and are abroad so the Hindu Maintenance Act would probably not impact them.

I really love reading, but I generally only read the books that everyone else knows of (ie. harry potter, a series of unfortunate events, all the roald dahl, sisterhood of the traveling pants, some current bestsellers, the classic school books).

I want to find new, exciting books that are similar to these types of movies:
Bridge to Terabithia, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Walk the Line, Big Fish, Moulin Rouge, Garden State, Zathura, Little Manhattan, Little Miss Sunshine.

Just a feel good, inspirational, moving story; although my favorite movies are Fight Club, Memento, American Beauty, etc., I don't want to read these types of stories.

I prefer adventure and fantasy to action and nonfiction.
and NOTHING SCARY, as i like to read close to bed time. =)

Anyone know any fun/incredible books that are similar to these types of movies/genre?

btw i am in highschool.

thank you!

I'm about to snap under the pressure of work and personal stuff. I'm going on a real vacation soon. However in order to hold my sanity over, I'm taking a personal day in two weeks. I need an idea on what to do with it. Don't want to go to a spa or sit at home and watch tv. (I live in New Jersey) Have fun with this, I want some real and good ideas. Thanks!
