since all of creation knows its creator, there is no purpose in this. animals do not have souls. they do not go to heaven or hell. they naturally obey the creator (GOD). they have no concept of choice, or free will or rebellion, or anything like humans do. as far as the spiritual realm is concerned, they are here today and gone tomorrow. the serve no importance. even though i am a serious animal lover, i have finally accepted the truth that animals dont have a soul and dont go to heaven nor do they have a place called rainbow bridge...these are all terms and thoughts brought about by the need for comfort when we have lost an animals we loved...but when you realize that GOD is truly all that matters and the rest is vanity of vanities, as Solomon says...you realize GOD is all the comfort you need.

Well I do have a cat that tries to snatch food off the table every night as we say grace--- does this mean my poor kitty is hopeless?? And my dog lays at our feet obediently through the entire grace--Maybe dogs do go to heaven. LOL --Our cat thinks he runs the place-he is a sneaky little thing that I love to pieces.

When I had pet fish, I put a little pagoda in their tank, which was the Temple of the Goddess of the Sea, or something like that. I thought it was so cute, that the fishies had their own little "temple." ;-) Only the best for my fishies!

You don't have to encourage your pet. Your pet wasn't given the gift of free will. Your pet is well aware of its creator and has been since birth.

Most of my cats talk to Jesus on a regular basis. They relay the messages to me during our skyclad pagan ceremonies when they take on human form!

The animals probably know the truth, they know when a storm is coming,so I am sure they know of God.My dog can pick out bad people ,he growls whenever someone who can't be trusted is around.
