If theres a technical term for it in command prompt please tell

if u use winxp, u can double click the network icon in the taskbar and then go to support tab and click Details.

The first DNS is primary and other is secondary

It all depends on what you use, If you have a usb modem then u can do it by going to to the command prompt and typing ipconfig /all

If you have a router then you will have to go into ur router usually 192.168.1.1 or 10.1.1.1 (use your router manual) and find it in there (use your router manual)

from the command prompt might tell you whhat you need

Like most commands nowadays, if you forget the /options, just type /? and it will tell you the options
