Sam wakes up at home with a huge hangover. Forcing him to open his eyes, the first thing he sees is a couple of aspirins and a glass of water on the side table. He sits up and notices his clothes in front of him, all clean and pressed. He looks around the room and sees that it is in perfect order, all spotless and clean. So is the rest of the house. He takes the aspirins and notices a note on the table, "Sweetheart, your breakfast is on the stove. I had to leave early to go shopping. Love you."

So, he goes to the kitchen and, sure enough, there is a hot breakfast and the morning newspaper. His son is sitting at the table, eating.

"What happened last night, son?" Sam asks.

His son replies, "Well, you came home after 3:00 AM, very drunk and delirious. Broke some furniture, puked in the hallway, and gave yourself a black eye when you stumbled into the door."

WASHINGTON (March 23) - Soon after becoming defense secretary, Robert Gates argued the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, should be closed because the international community would view any trials there as tainted, The New York Times reported on Thursday.

Instead, Gates, who became Pentagon chief in December, argued that terrorism suspects should be tried in the United States to make the proceedings more credible, the Times said.

The United States has brought charges against just one of the 385 foreign captives at Guantanamo. Australian David Hicks, 31, has been accused of providing material support for terrorism by fighting for al Qaeda in Afghanistan .

Hicks is charged under a new system of war crimes trials authorized by the U.S. Congress last year.

The United States has declared its intention to try 60 to 80 of the 385 foreign captives held at Guantanamo, including 14 "high-value" prisoners sent there in September from secret CIA prisons.

Some administration lawyers oppose bringing the captives into the United States because that would give them more constitutional and statutory rights, the newspaper said.

The Bush administration has insisted it needs to hold and try suspects at Guantanamo as part of its war against terrorism launched after the September 11 attacks on the United States.

Suppose you have a bunch of coins of 2 denominations, say X and Y, such that X and Y are co-prime. What is the smallest sum S, starting from which you can pay any sum without change?

Include the proof of the formula you find.

For example: suppose x=3, y=5.

1 - cannot pay
2 - cannot
3 - can
4 - cannot
5 - can
6 - can: 3 + 3
7 - cannot
8 - can: 3 + 5
9 - can: 3 + 3 + 3
10 - can: 5 + 5
11 - can: 8 (which we've shown already) + 3

so, the answer here would be 8.

What are the chances of pregnancy happening if my boyfriend had A LITTLE pre-cu m on his boxers and he touched it on his boxers. Just barely touched it and it didn't feel wet or anything then he fingers me but only about 2-3cm of his finger was inside me. Then i got this egg white discharge the next day. Yes i know we shouldn't fool around if we're not ready. Serious answers only please. Also when should i get my period if got this egg white discharge on the 15th of march which is a thursday.

what did you name your kids and how old are they and how did you come up with the name? My daughter's name is chantrella and she is 9 yrs old and i just made it up when i was 14 yrs old and when i had my daughter at 25..that was what i named her. My son is 13 months old and his name is brendin. I could not think of a unique name for a boy so i did a unique spelling. My mom and my daughter named him. my fiancee did not have a problem with me naming him that as my mom died 4 days before my son was born and i raised my daughter with my mom and dad's help so it was only fitting for my mom and daughter to name my son.

I'm pregnant with my 2nd son, due on 19th July 2007.

My first son who is now 8, was born at 34 weeks due to pre-eclampsia, he was small for dates too, weighing in at 4lb 1oz.

Anyway...I have been told that I am higher risk for pre-eclampsia again for numerous reasons and I am so frightened that I will get it again.

My consultant panicked me last week with "your blood pressure is very high and you are showing traces of protein in your urine" I have since been tested again and no traces of protein and my blood pressure is back to normal thankfully, but I feel like I am seriously worrying myself over something I have no control over! I havent spoken to anyone about it for fear they think i'm a paranoid fruitcake, I even think I am myself! LOL

I just wanted to know if others have had similar experiences really with happy endings etc or if others are worrying the same as I am...

what point is there to life? The politicians pretend to be doing things to better the system. The Political feild is corrupt. The love of familly has deminished. MONEY seems to mean more to the young people than love for their parents or children. I am talking about the 30 somethings. i can't spell, and i'm pretty un educated i might have a third grade education at best. But I think we're just out hear spinning around on a big blue rock. Alright so my friends and I recently got in trouble at school because our clique was being "mean to other people". We hardly ever talk to anyone else, and I assure you, if we do, it's being nice. But apparently, my friends sign on AIM and decide to tell me how IM THE ONE THAT'S ALWAYS MEAN AND ITS ALL MY FAULT! I stayed home all week because I was sick, and now i'm going to school for the last day before spring break. I have to go here in about...1 hour, so anything you could tell me BEFORE would be great.
