Alright so my friends and I recently got in trouble at school because our clique was being "mean to other people". We hardly ever talk to anyone else, and I assure you, if we do, it's being nice. But apparently, my friends sign on AIM and decide to tell me how IM THE ONE THAT'S ALWAYS MEAN AND ITS ALL MY FAULT! I stayed home all week because I was sick, and now i'm going to school for the last day before spring break. I have to go here in about...1 hour, so anything you could tell me BEFORE would be great. So basically...what should I do? I've known them my whole lives, so it's not a matter of moving on.

I WAS NEVER MEAN TO ANYONE, SO YOU CAN ALL STOP ANSWERING WITH "NOW YOU KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE" BECAUSE THEY DO THIS SAME **** TO ME LIKE ONCE A MONTH, AND I'VE NEVER DONE IT TO ANYONE, JUST BECAUSE I'M IN A CLIQUE DOESN'T MEAN THAT I'M MEAN, OKAY?

If you really feel that you are not being mean...then you can defend yourself in a mature way....you kill them with kindness. It's hard because you probably feel betrayed by your friends but this is typical of people who do wrong and point the finger to other people to make themselves look better.

If you all were in this thing together then the finger should not be pointed at anyone. You all were in the wrong so face the consequences. Is seems like the friends that you have are not really your friends they are just trying to put all the blame on you and get off. These are not your friends b/c if they were they would ride or die for you honestly. Trust in yourself and the other things will come.
By the way, were you really being that mean to others? How would you like it if someone treated you unkind? Before you act always think of what you are about to risk doing b/c what goes around comes back around. You never know how it is coming back on you either so treat everyone as you would want them to treat you.

Cliques are dumb anyway. You should hang out with everyone. Maybe school is different than it was 10 years ago, but I was popular because I hung out with the jocks, cheerleaders, drama kids, smokers, student government, and a/v "geeks". Just be yourself, unless yourself is mean of course.
It sounds like you need new friends, you can always make new ones. What does knowing them your whole life have to do with it? I moved every three years and I kept the real friends for all these years. Believe me, you can move on and make other friends.

Being in these cliques gonna get you a job someday? Popular girls like you girls are hated more than you know. I think you're afraid to be yourself and you need the support of other small minded people like yourself to feel ok. When you get out into the real world you will lack social skills that you need to achieve your goals because you played it "safe" with your buddies. Believe me what comes around goes around. You are not doing yourself or anyone else favors by talking to them, get over yourself. Do what you are supposed to do at school and learn something. What you're doing will get you nowhere.

firstly you can tell them that if it was JUST you that ALL of them would not be in trouble as well. Obviously no one is being cruel for one resaon or another, but others may take it that way becasue you dont invite them to girls night or whatever the case may be. You need to tell them all that you cherish their friendship and you want to continue with that friendship but if they cant realize that they are just as much at fault as you are then they are not the type of people you should be hanging out with. They need to realize that yeah even if it was just you being mean to other that they are now being mean to you for something silly that can be resolved with an i'm sorry to whom ever it needs to go to.

ask them what they have been saying is true. If it is then ask them why. If you do get in trouble then the only thing you can do is tell the truth or tell a teacher before anyone else gets a chance to. I had this myself last year and it is a pain in the **** but you move on xx

firrst of all you shouldnt be treating people like that. whether they in your clique or not. people have feelings, like you. now you dont like it. think of all the people you hurt. remember that saying what goes around comes around. i would spend very little time with this clique, and make friends that dont want to get in trouble.

i have had this happen to me. it really sucks. i think the best course of action is to tell them or ask them to stop saying that and then find a new group to hang out with. i did that and my friends realized that it wasn't me that was being mean, it was them. now they hang out with me and are trying real hard not to be mean to other kids.

Your friend is probably just mad or stressed right now don't worry about it. I know my friend was being very mean to me for no reason and it turned out that her parents were getting divorced.
