Profit of multinational companies and dictatorship.
C'mon guys wake up! Look just at your school system. General knowledge of the Americans is a disastrous. They don't know basic things. Even high educated people are lacking knowledge in subjects that are not connected with their job. Why? Because the less person knows, it's easier to manipulate with him/her. Informations on the TV ( which is the most popular media in US) ? Robbery, Pop star scandal, political scandal, murder, police chase ... Where are informations about what's happening in the science, art. May be some small short news when only TV freaks are watching!
Information blockade, that's what you have. On the other side, commercials everywhere - buy, buy, buy, buy, if you don't buy this you wont be happy, if you don't use our product you're a failure, with our brand from a schmuck, you'll become the most popular guy in the neighborhood. Only thing that they forgot to say is that because of their bigger profit your aunt Edna lost her job, and those Chinese girls and boys that are making their product now are not living happy life.
Informations from the rest of the world are selected by political lobbies, so that you know only what suites them. Land of freedom? Than why was Moor's "Fahrenheit 9/11" almost forbidden? Land of democracy? So how come that person who won less votes become a president?
You American patriots, you can hate me for writing this, but start to reed a little bit between the lines, and look for the informations that you don't get from TV. May be you'll see that it's not everything shiny and bright in the way it looks like.

I think the outside world sees America as a war-monger, racist and too big for its boot.
I've been to America and I did love it, but back home when you read the papers and listen to American policy, well, it just stinks and that's the image being portrayed around the world
