I'm almost finished my first year of university working on a Bachelors of Science in Physics. I really want to be able to get into graduate school in 3 years, but I've got some GPA boosting to do before then.

I know I have the intelligence to get my GPA above 3.0, but I'm not sure what some appropriate steps would be to take.

So far, in the 5 courses I've taken:

Physics Math Math Chem Econ
B B- C B- C+

At my university, that amounts to a 2.54 GPA.

I know I have plenty of time to bring it up, and graduate admissions generally only looks at the last 60 credit hours anyhow.

What can I do to raise it? I think my biggest problem is that I generally study enough to get an average grade (as evidenced by my marks) or to just barely beat the curve. How can I get myself to study more?

My cat is losing hair on her legs and stomach. Symmetrical hair loss. The skin is not inflamed. No lesions. She is eating and drinking. I do know that about a week ago she was drinking more water than usual. But, now she seems to be drinking normally again. She is sleeping almost all the time. I am worried. Her vet changed her diet to z/d (Hills)
Her vet doesn't do skin scrapings. as far as allergy is concerned. I have not noticed fleas but, she does scratch (not where the skin loss is). Does anybody think that an antibiotic may help? The vet did give me prednisone to give her as needed. (pills) .

A concerned husband went to the doctor to talk about his wife.

He said to the doctor, "I think my wife is deaf because she never hears me the first time and always asks me to repeat things."

"Well," the doctor replied, "go home tonight, stand about 15 feet from her, and say something. If she doesn't reply, move 5 feet closer and say it again. Keep doing this until we get an idea about the severity of her deafness."

The husband went home and did exactly as the doctor had instructed. He started off 15 feet from his wife in the kitchen as she was chopping some vegetables.

He said, "Honey, what's for dinner?"

He heard no response. He moved 5 feet closer and asked again. No reply. He moved 5 feet closer. Still no reply.

He finally got fed up and moved right behind her, about an inch away, and asked again, "Honey, what's for dinner?"

She replied, "For the fourth time, vegetable stew!"

got speaking to some girl i liked. I suggested asking each other 5 questions as a small fun game. We did she was keen to then it lasted for like an hour or so i mentioned that we went over our limit and she was like "well i never liked limits anyway" She asked what my previous relationships were like. which i responded truthfully. and found a tonne of information that we have very similar interests etc. Would this be the starting of a good potetial relationship. if she wasnt interested she wouldn't have given me her phone number, email etc to chat right?

My boss is a christian and she looks at me as one of her children. yesterday she called me and told me to think about going back to school. but the problem is that she doesn't know that iam pregnant and that my boyfriend refused to give me any assitance. should i tell her that as of now i can't go back to school because of what iam going through? im 19 and a lot of young girls like me, but i reject them because i play by the rules or what most parents dont want.
Im talking about girls around ages 14,15,16.
I know their parents wouldnt want them to be with an older guy and gossip speading around because im with a young girl. But even my parents agree with me that age doesnt matter so if i were to bring in a young girl they wouldnt mind but her parents would.
But age doesnt matter to me and right now i have a crush on a girl who's 28 and heard that she might like me.
So why does age matter? its all about love and the relationship with the other person not age!
I bet the parents were like that when they were young, but once they're older, they think different and i respect that though.

I am trying to loose a about 100lbs, but I want to do it safely. So far I have lost about 10. I currently work out every day by walking on the treadmill for an hour. I vary the speed and incline to keep it difficult. I have also recently added a low-impact areobics class once a week. I know that I need to be lifting weights to help boost my metabolism but I am not sure about when to start. I read in one weightloss magazine not to until you are about 20-30lbs of your goal weight and then in another that I should start now. So I am really confused about when to start. And when I do start, do I do low weights and lots of reps or high weights with few reps. This is so confusing
