My Girlfriend has a bad habit of biting her nails. I tell her to try to get her mind off of it by sitting on her hands, keeping her hands busy, and a lot of other lil ways. One of her excuses for doin it is that she's hungry but then again she does it when she's nervous, when she's watching a movie, when she's bored, and even when she's eating which defeats the purpose of her saying that she only does it when she's hungry. I've tried my best and nothing seems to work. It's a bad habit that she needs to stop. Can anyone help me?? Any kind of products out there for this and if so, where can I find them?

Once again I'm watchin him today being totally babied by the officials! he has committed at least 5 obvious fouls in the second half and been called for NONE of them!!!! my ex broke up with me about 10pm last night. but this past week he has been acting really strange..he hardly talked to me if i texted him he would just text back "ya" "ok" "idont know" stuff like that. and b4 he broke up with me he said he has a lot of stuff on his mind..he seems really sad..then he randomly texts me 1am in the morning after he broke up with me and said "you probably don't even care whats on my mind"..i said ya i do but you wont tell me whats on your mind..and i asked him to tell and he just said "nothing you would understand"..he keeps bringing up that he has a lot on his mind but he wont tell me what is.everytime i ask he just says idunno.or u wont understand..he keeps ignoring me..did he just lose interest or is he just sad?? should i ignore him back?

Since you believe that Jesus rose from the dead, why do a lot of you vehemently put down other religions such as Paganism claiming it is the work of satan?

I would think anyone being able to be resurrected from the dead would have some kind magickal properties, and even then, why would it be difficult for them to even think for a second that Jesus "resurrection" was by the help fo god and not satan?

I'd like to see a few of you try and answer without saying "It's written in the bible and the bible is the work of God!" or anything similar. Please try and use your imaginations for once?

Wouldn't it make more sense for the first living creature to be one able to produce life.

And then theres the question of whichever sex evolved first how did it procreate? Who was there to procreate with? Scientists say that the evolution of life is so improbable that it took millions of years for the conditions of this improbability to take place so are we to believe that something compatible with the first human also evolved at the same time?

I'm aware this question seems to have a religious slant but I am really trying to weigh up the pros and cons of both evolution and creation. Does anyone have a plausable scenario?

Me and his dad have split up over a year ago, we were not living together although he would stay at our place 3 or 4 days a week.
My son is nearly 5 and I do realise that all this has had a tremendous effect on him, however I've noticed lately that every time his dad is about lo leave when he visits my son or when he's dropping him back, he gets very teary and makes all sorts of excuses to prevent him from leaving.
Sometimes he has major tantrums about something unrelated to dad's departure just before he's about to leave... i can see that he's unhappy about the situation,
He spends time with his dad on a regular weekly basis and thankfully we keep a very good friendship which helps matters, however I'm just puzzled as to why my son has started showing this unhappiness now, he tells me he misses his daddy but just after he's left because during the rest of time he barely even talks about him...

Any advice welcome.

Is this how you spell food in chinese?
