my fetal anatomy u/s scan is in 10 days, but latley i just got this feeling it is a girl. im kinda hping now. did anyone else just get a " feeling " , and it turned out to be right?? Thanks!

Yes, on both pregnancies, I just knew they were both girls (and my husband had three boys with his 1st wife). The doctor agreed with me, even before the ultrasound, because I was carrying high and the heartbeats were fast.
Sometimes there really is such a thing as mother's intuition!!
(When you go in for your next appointment...if you haven't heard what the sex is yet....ask the doctor if the heartbeats are fast or slow with the baby. Fast usually means a baby girl!)
I am so excited for you....I am done having kids but just love remembering all this excitement and anticipation. What a wonderful road you are walking down.....sigh...

No... I had a feeling my first would be a girl, for no other reason than that there have been no boys born on my side of the family for ages, my aunt has girls, my mum, 2 girls, my grandma, 2 girls etc... I suppose I just expected to follow family tradition - lol!! My baby was a boy!
With my second, I didn't want to get my hopes up, so I didn't really think about it - I had bleeding and almost miscarried at 16 weeks. My partner said one morning: "How are both my girls?" and when I asked him why he referred to her as a girl, he said he didn't know... He was right, a few weeks later they told me she was deffo a girl! Mu mum also did the pendant thing, which had said it was a girl!
Good luck and congrats - but don't be disappointed if it's not what you're expecting though! Be glad your baby is safe and healthy, I'm 31 weeks now, and sooo thankful me and baby have made it this far!

I was the same as you. Thought I wanted a boy, then at about 4 months i got this stong feeling it was a girl. And then had my heart set on a girl. The ultrasound couldnt tell as it had its legs crossed, so i didnt find out till it was born. The whole pregnancy I only bought pink things not one boy thing, the feling was that strong. When my baby was being born I yelled "is it a girl? is it a girl?" and my sister said she was hoping it was because she thought i would be upset if it wasnt.. And yes it was a girl!! Im 4 months pregnant now with my second and the strong feeling has come again. I think its another girl.

Not me. My second baby was SO active, and my skin was dry, which I'd heard was an indicator that it was a boy. I almost cried when I found out I was having another little girl. But I was excited too, because little girls are sooo snuggly sweet, and get to wear frilly lacy pink things and turn Daddy's heart to mush. A little boy would have been wonderful- my brothers love my mom. My littlest brother asked me once, "Don't you think Momy looks so cute when she first wakes up in the morning?" That's just not the sort of thing a little girl thinks of her mom. Whoever your sweetie turns out to be- you'll appreciate the different wonderful things about having a boy/girl. :)

Both pregnantcies. I just knew my first baby would be a girl. Then i was just praying when i found out i was pregnant that i would be blessed again with the most beutiful and perfect baby girl.I knew that it's a girl and now i have my two girls, Sabrina and Alexis.

If you put your ring on a piece of thread and hold it over your tummy. If it swings in a circle it's a girl, if it swings side to side it's a boy. It worked for both of mine. It also works with a sewing needle on a piece of thread or a pendulum crystal.

YES. Well, my doctor said he knew at the 12 week check up.
He said he could tell by the heart beats.
He put his guess in an envelope, and put it in my file, and said he would only open it once I had my u/s.
He was right.

I was right with both of mine. about 3-4 months you just get this weird feeling.

Yes, I believed I was having a boy and we didn't want to know till delivery.. and I DID have boy. It was my gut feeling...that thing they call a "mother's intuition."
