In June of '05, my now husband had a DNA test conducted on himself and his "child". Subsequently, we found out the child was not his. Two years later, the mother of the child is suing him for support. My husband and the mother of the child were never married, never lived together, and he never signed any papers or birth certificate, acknowledging that this was his child. He did, however, pay support (without an order). The child is now almost 3. My question is, are we going to be held responsible for this child under California Paternity laws? So far, my husband has only had to make a statement to the department of child support services and request and "official" DNA test to be done by the state. Is there anything we should be worried about? We're not interested in recouping the support money we're out already; we just want this to be over! (Who wouldn't after 3 years of harassment and basically losing a child?)

The problem is, I DO know. Smoking astro turf doesn't give you the same high. Should I confront her and risk a fight? Or should I just buy some more weed and hide it better next time?

I'm 17 and I used to not take care of my teeth. Now I brush my teeth every day and I went to the dentist about a month ago for a cleaning. She cleaned my teeth and now I brush 3 times a day. She said my gums were inflamed but that they would be ok as long as I brush and floss. However, I realized that when I push my teeth really hard and then push them with my tongue, they feel like they kinda move but I cant actually see them move. Is it normal to feel that? Would my dentist have said something if my teeth are loose? She also took x-rays. And you know how your gums are also between your teeth. It looks like the gums around one of my teeth arent as long, like some of the gum disapeared but not that much. How serious is that. Is it too late to save all of my teeth from falling out? This is all that i think about now.

I understand it is up to the arrangement the agency has between the employer, nevertheless, don't they have to give a raise after the employee reaches a certain number of hours?

This pertains to a contract that is over 4 years long and will probably go on for years to come. Employees can stay on for 2 years only. They have never seen a pay raise within this time. Is this legal?

Thanks.
