I dont get payed for my days off, but I have to book them in advance. Do I have any rights after 7 months casual employment? Is there any law regulation abouth lenth of casual employmet? I signed contract, but never got a copy. Now, they say they can't find it, I am on the books, I pay NI and tax. It is big,well known company...

Why is it so popular?
I never did get what was so appealing about 22 guys kicking a ball around trying to get it into each others net.
Why is 12 guys hitting a ball with a stick trying to get it into each others net not so popular, or 10 guys bouncing a ball around trying to get it into each others net?
I'm not on about the speed skill or agility of the sports which all require a high level of talent. But why has football become the dominant sport as opposed to rugby, hockey, etc
What psychologically attracts people to football in the first place?

I hear people whine about how hard computers are to use all the time. "How do you cut and paste?", "How come I dragged this icon over there but it didn't go there" etc. etc.

I remember the days of executing programs by command line. Memorizing DOS commands. Figuring out which IRQ or DMA conflict was causing XWing to crash. Extended memory, Expanded memory, 640K barrier, etc. etc. Now THAT was tough computing!

And I'm pretty sure those before me had it even harder!
