I always try to be nice and do the right thing, and people tend to walk all over me and take advantage of it. Should I change?

It's not that I'm weak! I'm very athletic but I can't imagine using that to hurt somebody. I know there's always another way than having to be intimidating

Okay...I LOVE nice guys...Recently just learned that actually...But here's the thing...Have a back bone!!! Nice guys are amazing..But being nice and letting people walk all over you are different hun. Keep being the loving forgiving guy...But when it comes to being walked all over put up your gaurd. Don't let them walk all over you!!! Your too good for that!!! Tell em' what cha think!

HONESTLY NICE GUYS ALWAYS DO COME IN LAST BUT THEIR THE ONE TO STICK AROUND... datting wise i think girls go for the bad boys when their young and after they figure of that all of the bad boys are the same and they are sick of being mistreated, verbaly abused, and cheated on they come around and even if thats not the case the bad boys will put on an act for the ladys and be the "nice guy" and usually they know alot more about the game of love then the "nice guy" but what i mean when you will be the one to stick around is after this boy breaks a girls heart you will be there to hold her and comfort her if she dosnt realize you then give yourself a little nudge to be noticed and you being mistreated drop those people you only let yourself be walked all over they arnt your true friends if they arnt willing to stick up for you or do whats in your best intrest you dont need people like that in your life

The answer is yes. And even though the nice guy may eventually marry the good-looking girl when she wises up, he'll be the one raising the bad boy's offspring instead of his own. This is a superior mating strategy that humans and other intelligent animals have used since the beginning of time. My advice? Start being a little more selfish.

You can be nice and still stand up to people. u just have to determine when you are being too nice and letting the other person take advantage of you . You don't have to beat someone all you have to do is say no or i'm sorry but i cant do that or something else like that.

No, nice guys don't always finish last. Many people are like you. I know exactly what you mean. It happened to me. But you need to learn when something is not right to stand up for yourself to not let it happen. Don't let the people take advantage of you. It will make you even happier when you do. But keep your chin up. Your an indangered species that we can't loose. Its to bad we dont have more.

No, you shouldn't change at all. I have the same personality type. People that walk over you, usually are rude and disrespectful. You should be caring and kind. Although, you should make sure to stand up for yourself....being walked over like a rug, isn't always the most appealing thing...you should stand up for yourself in many ways possible! Someday, you will see someone will respect you for who you really are. They will see your character and be drawn towards it, you'll see, just keep the faith!

I don't think you finish last at all... You just won't be the richest for it. But, you will be rewarded for yourself and to god. I have had alot come back to me for being nice to the bitter end for some very horrible things done to me. I stay nice and anybody who walks all over and takes advantage of nice people has to deal with them self.

Oh don't change at all there aren't to many nice guys and girls really do like those type of boys. I think everyone is giving you good advice that you shouldn't let people walk all over you but be yourself don't change!

Dont change yourself, just maybe be a little more assertive, i mean there has to be those times where you KNOW your being walked on. Now im nto telling you to become this over powering machine but like dude ppl wallking all over you is TOTALLY not cool. itll get to the point where you get sooo frustrated with people that youll just BLOW up and then youll be known as that psycho that was quiet and went nuts. are you getting what im saying?? dont change who are just better yourself!

hey you can be nice but not to nice,nice guys always come in last but when you come in its worth it.you should not change for anybody.but if you really want to be noticed and not taken advantage of,try being a little more selfish and do as you like try it ,it works
