KNOW which ones are poisonous, where the habitats are that the poisonous ones are at, and AVOIDING Irritating these poisonous snakes in the first place (just don't go into their "home" and one will NOT be hurt!).

Hi, I would steer well clear, but do you mean you have a snake at home, or were you planning going out into the countryside? I was sunbathing in Cyprus and saw a big snake at the side of me, at the time i didn't know if it was poisonous or not, so i just sat really still and it just went away into the undergrowth. So if it's outside just be careful where you are walking and where you sit down. Good Luck........

i've lived around alot of snakes. always make noise so they can run first. if you can't run grab the snake by the tail and swing it over your head like a stripper then pop it like a bull whip on the ground.
