I know that the requirements to pass the initial strength test are 3 pullups, 44 crunches in 2minutes, and a 13:30 mile and half, but I can do that already, and i have to believe the Marines are tougher than that. I can do 15-17 pullups, 60-70 crunches, and a 25 minute 3 miles. How much work do i need to do to be able to succeed in boot camp, and what excersizes should i concentrate on?

To cook for my honey on Valentines Day! I'm making a nice cold seafood platter (lobster/scallops/shrimp/crab with sauces) to start as well as Penne with a Vodka sauce. Does anybody have any suggestions for a nice hot and light soup, that would go good with these dishes? I thought about Gazpacho, but think I need to make something hot after the cold seafood. Nothing creamy either as the Pasta is rich enough. Garlic soup, french onion, striatchetella (sp?)?

I am a teacher in a critical shortage area in Mississippi, and I am just curious about what others think about the teachers' low salaries. We teach the future doctors, lawyers, computer scientists, etc., yet we are the lowest paid of all careers. People tend to argue that we knew what we were getting into before we chose that career path and get mad if teachers go on strike because of the low salaries. They say, "We pay taxes, so they just need to do their jobs," yet, we, too, are taxpayers who donate to our own salaries. Many of us have families to take care of as well. As a taxpayer, I think it's time for a change in teachers' salaries...

My question is in Daniel chapter 1 (the first verses):

Was Israel captured by the king Nebuchadnezzar?

If it was captured by king Nebuchadnezzar, then, was that the reason why they captured Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah so that they will work for the king (Nebuchadnezzar)?

I bought a computer that was a lemon, needed a new hard drive. They had it 6 weeks for this. I got it back, it didn't work, they had it another 6 weeks. They couldn't fix it. I had purchased an extended warranty from Best Buy. They told me they weren't going to fix the computer. They are done with trying. They didn't stand behind this sale or this product. Has anyone else had a problem with Best Buy? They don't even belong to the Better Business Bureau, I found out after the fact. Maybe they were kicked out for too many consumer complaints and then not making it right for the consumer?

My massage therapist wants me to do structural integration. I have fallen arches, I suffer from IT in my left knee, I run and cycle and am really hurting these days. The left side of my body is really tense even though my right side is dominant. She has done it and said it worked for her, she did my feet a little bit tonight and she said it was working. I can't tell, but then again, I am not very in tune with that kind of stuff.

I googled Structural Integration, and there are a lot of links, but nothing really saying firmly if it works or not. I would like to hear definitive no's too, otherwise, I am worried that it is not drastic enough for the cost.

Make sense? Help!

I knew he smokes pot prior to becoming business partners, however I think it effects his mood and mentality. He however defends the use of pot.

I think it effects him in a negative manner, and yet I don't think he see's it.

I'm no longer happy with the partnership, not soley because of his pot use, its also our clashing personalities.

The business runs great and I'd like to be the captain of the ship, rather then argue with my partner. What should I do...?
