I bought an Expedition in Houston about three years ago. I know when the flood came a lot of cars were involved in that. Also with Katrina, others might have been shipped over there for resale. The best bet is to run a check on the car. Also try this website - www.automotive.com
It is very resourceful, with car buying tips and classified sections. It will give you pricing quotes, factory color options, along with car reviews and auto recalls.

Take this hint - go to WWW.kellybluebook.com and look up a price. Kelly will tell you the best price from a Dealer, or from an individual. Pick a car you'd like to own and shop for it using one of the on-line services like CARSOUP.com or even EBAY motors. When you find the car you are looking for check it out , drive it , and if you like it make an offer which is at the low end of Kelly's scale. You can also take it to a mechanic and have it checked out. Copy down the VIN from the ad or from the car and get a CARFAX history or similar report before you put down any money. Good Luck+

Go to Arkansas and buy it there. Then drive it back. Also remember they are always cheaper in Raul areas.

I would prefer to go to an area that has a dryer climate (less humidity) means less rust.
