Even all you religious believer's out there. Do you only believe in God and do nice by others only so you can go to heaven?

Is that or is that not personal gain?

Okay. So my "secret" long time crush likes me. But today i found out my best friend likes him. What if he asks me out. Do i say yes or no. My best friend is very sensitive.. Last year they went out and he dumped her. A day later his best friend told her he dumped her cause he like me. She was so sad. I told her that if he ever did ask me out i'd say no. But that was last year. =] So ne wayz... what do i do?

I have about 90 credits over 5 years time, and I am not sure what I want to major in now. I am thinking of joining the national call to serve(15 months active duty, basic, AIT) or 2-3 year option in Army. I'm interested in 44C (Financial Mgt. Technician).If I go ahead one more year of college(bachelor's of science in Liberal Studies), can I join as an E-4 instead of E-3? Army has shorter terms and can chose MOS as opposed to Air Force. My husband is a Health Care Specialist for over 4 years(E-4). We're in Oahu. He wants to be officer, and eventually retire in Army. We are trying to get a solid foundation before we have kids. I would like to contribute more since I am not getting anywhere fast with my schooling. Any suggestions, additional information regarding enlistment lenghts, choice of MOS, college options, etc? What about both spouses military arrangements? We are 23 and 22 btw. Better to just join now or worth it to finish to get Liberal Studies(BS)?

I mean, have we all become so dogmatically Politically Correct that we no longer recognize good satire. Have any of your answers fell on not only deaf ears, but plebian mind sets? Is there no give and take in honest communication ? Some of these questions are so inane they beggar description. First Ammendment? Eh?
Some of these tender, precious minds that get all offended when someone gives an answer to thier(mostly) ridiculously lousy questions must do so just so they can narc on their more hip brethren/ sisters, etc. We called them tattletales when I was a child. I have a few choice names for them now but it's doubtful they'll ever hear them since I'm sure I'd be censored again.
Bunch of wadded pantie wearing , socially dysfunctional, na-na-na-na giberring poltroons is what they are.
Maybe you think I'm over reacting, but wait till it happens to you a few times. And then there's never any reply to your own protests.
There, I've vented. Blessed relief.

Ok I'm back. I had a badly timed meldown. I love him so much but it just got to me each week packing up my stuff and my son's to go to his house. My house is too small for him and 2 kids ( that I love very much) of his to come to me. After 3 yrs I thought we would at least be engaged. We have no talks of the future except his uneasiness about his previous very bad divorce, and his unreadiness to legally commit. My needs seem lost and he is pefectly content to have me there every weekend. I finally asked when in the world we could move forward after 3 yrs, he said he was not ready for marriage, didn't think a piece of paper was important and livng together is what he thinks the next step should be. Due to work, my 11 yr old son and my home, I think living together is a bad choice,marriage is what I fell is the right option. I want to build a life together.Living together totally benefits him not me as I see it am I wrong? I question his love as he can't commit. Help

Athiesm is not a religion - atheists are allowed to believe in anything, except the existence of God.
They can believe in evolution and science, or not. They can believe in spirituality or not.
Atheists have widely varying views on everything from creation to science to the supernatural.
Stop puitting us in a little box where everyone has to believe the same thing!
